“This was my fourth class at FreeState, second one with Dane as the instructor. He’s thorough, to the point, and throws in a little humor to make it enjoyable.
I feel much more comfortable after this class. I’ve practiced drawing from my holster in my house but didn’t want to develop bad habits. I now know how to properly, efficiently, and (most importantly) safely draw from my holster.”
“I had the best experience with the Operations Manager Jacob. He was so knowledgeable and very respectful of my time and needs. He carefully responded to all of my questions and advised me on some things moving further when purchasing. I would always come back here! Good prices, great experience, quick, friendly, and insightful service. Thank you!”
“As always The Gun shop didn't disappoint! Not only did I find a firearm for $80 less than other places the customer service couldn't be better. This place has stayed in business because they know what they are doing!! Definitely worth going to visit every 31 days.”
“I could be mistaken, but I believe that in 1970, when I graduated from the Baltimore Police Academy, I received some of my police equipment from Maryland Police Supply. I remember that process as pleasant, and the staff was helpful. I'm sure that process will be much the same today. I understand that the law in Maryland regarding hand gun ownership has been somewhat relaxed. I intend to investigate this matter and I am interested in purchasing a new hand gun. Mr. F.M. “Mike and Neil were able to help me in a quick and timely matter at an affordable price. I cant thank them enough for helping me out and definitely will be coming to them in the future for any of my gun smith needs.”
“I moved to MD in 2011 and left in 2023. I found several “gunsmiths” within a couple of hours drive of my place, but Scott’s was the only place where I actually felt comfortable leaving a firearm for work. While I am not a gunsmith the Army invested enough money in me that I can do pretty much perform any first or second level maintenance and even some third level depending on the weapon. I have a Beretta 950 Minx (22 short) that needed some serious attention. Scott took it and told me that even though they were a bit backed up he would get to it and it should be done in less than 30 days. She was absolutely smooth as glass when I got her back and the price was pretty fair. The entire staff there is very knowledgeable and more than willing to help you out with any problems you might have. Oh and as far as ammo goes I have found that he always seemed to have the best prices for the match grade .308 that I was looking for. Even if they didn’t carry the ammo I was looking for they were willing to give me a reference to find it at another shop. Not many shops will go that extra mile like that or send you to a competitor’s shop. A lot of the poor comments I have read seem to be from people who wanted their stuff done immediately and didn’t seem to care what work he had scheduled before them. Scott’s is like the standard gun stores I have utilized and if you aren’t willing to give respect, you won’t earn theirs. Even though I am out of the State I still drop by when I am in town to see what goodies he may have stashed in a corner. I would and have recommended this shop to everyone I knew while I was at AGC.Thanks Scott and wish you the best of luck always.”
“Owner stands behind his shop and his services. Had a minor miscommunication on some work and he resolved the issue quick and I felt taken care of. Will not hesitate to come back in the future.”
