Transmission Repair
“I purchased a classic car from car finders. They have been pleasant to work with, and seem to have a variety of used cars available. Depending on what you are looking for I say give them a look.”
“This place is amazing! Unfortunately, I was in an accident couple weeks ago. I was able to tow my car here with ease. They were quickly able to get back to me. I will be definitely coming back here for any work that I need done on my vehicle. You should too!”
“I have worked with Darren and Ray for about two years, have taken my vehicle there several times for multiple issues. They have always had great communication, fair prices, and been easy to work with. I’ll continue taking my vehicle to Hometown Auto and would recommend them to anyone with car troubles.”
“Always a good experience here. The office is impeccable, the personnel unfailingly cordial and professional.
I’m always a bit overwhelmed, however, with their massive review of my car’s working parts. And LMW is rather pricey, when compared to my excellent auto mechanic in Frederick.”

Transmission Repair
“Had to get new brake pads and rotors. They didn't charge for the diagnostic, compared to other shops in Towson that charge $100 or more! Customer service was amicable and clear. The prices were fair and service was quick! Highly recommend, very kind people. :)”
“TMC is the best! Folks, if you live near the Eldersburg area this is the spot for your auto repair- maintenance needs. Call Tom and set up an appointment. Thank me later”
“Can’t speak much to their work because they barely touched my truck. Like all of us, I’m trying to keep an older vehicle on the road. My first option is always to do it myself and when I am unable, try to find a local shop.
I read the positive reviews and decided try Calvin’s when my transmission started acting up. He ran the diagnostics and said he couldn’t find anything wrong with it. Suggested a few options to check on my own but that he was confident it wasn’t the transmission. I asked him how much for the diagnostics. He refused, handed me back my keys and told me to call him if I ever have any other transmission problems.
You can spend a ton of money throwing money and parts at a vehicle. The shops a little tough to find but finding a stand-up mechanic is even tougher. Give ‘em a shot. Can a business gain a customer by NOT doing something? Yes…yes they can.”
“I took my old 1996 pickup truck for MD state inspection they found the fuel line were rusted and would not pass the MD state inspection for safety. I replaced the fuel lines took back for inspection and it passed. Thanks to the staff for a wonderful job.”
