Like canned soup . 1.25 at Dollar Tree. 3.15 at the grocery store. I save lots of money doing this. The staff is friendly and helpful.”

... First things first, I moved here from Florida and the Dollar generals in Anne Arundel county and in Baltimore area are so so much better than the ones in Central Florida!
They seem to sell everything from quality bras and comfortable underwear. To medicines to name brand makeup to baby things to furniture, lamps to all name brand types of food, cereals, ice creams, great priced milk even almond milk!
In this particular one off Veterans highway in Millersville, MD. Everybody is always so nice and so helpful and they genuinely want you to save money and explain the quality of your savings If you download the app.
The only reason I haven't visited more often is because I'm a forgetful person and it's not right around the corner from you. Now that I've gone there a couple times to doordash and deliver for other people, I am definitely a true believer in this store and I even got the app.
You can get cash back! And I mean good cash back. For example, they'll tell you, you can earn $3 off Venus four pack razors and the razors will only be $6!!! Other full price convenient and grocery stores, they're I think somewhere from 12 to 16 bucks!! So in retrospect you're only paying $3 for these razors at any Dollar General ( at least for this week's special ? ) because they're giving you immediately another $3 to go spend in their store!!!!! It doesn't get much better than that ? but the nice and friendly and helpful employees really make it a thousand times better than any other discount store I can think of at this time! Or really any store. They definitely raise the bar for quality. Kind friendly, helpful customer service!
To clarify, I do not know anybody that works there. I have never worked here. I've only been in this store four times. This is truly how impressed I am with this store and this location particularly ?
I wish I could remember the name of the young man working Sunday June 23rd, 2024 evening to closing shift, at the register.... because he was terrific!!!! If Dollar general sees this and knows the person's name, please let me know so I can give them a shout out in this review because they gave terrific, joyful, efficient customer service. They were very knowledgeable and helpful about the app while still keeping up with a line and being the only person on the register! And doing all with a smile and genuinely and authentically seemed to love what they do and moved helping people which I think is fantastic!!”

I've spent half my kids college savings on textured, self-adhesive wall tiles and zebra-painted, framed mirrors. Don't tell Deb. “There was this cashier, I don't know her name. It's my first time here. She was soo nice. ( A black lady with a short blonde hair). I told her I liked her outfit and she smiled with a happy positive attitude and I told her I don't know if I was the 1st time giving her a compliment today. She said you are I got here at 5:30 pm. I said yup that's an hour ago. She told me I was pretty twicr. She asked me if I needed a bag, I said yes. She put my items in the bag for me. We had a small conversation, but wanted to keep it short due to a customer coming in the line. Honestly, her outfit was fire and she was really friendly. This store was huge too.”

Staff can be hit or miss. People may be shoplifting sometimes. Things may be out of stock. Oh well.
Personally, never had any real issues with items being out of stock and the store is pretty clean. The staff is nice enough and people stealing in the store has nothing to do with me and it’s not like it’s the store’s fault it’s happening. People be stealing. Same with the occasional panhandlers outside.
In the last few months, the store has had a lot more stock on their shelves so really excited about that. Love going there to pick up face masks, bath-bombs and basic essentials like aluminum foil and toothpaste.”

“Never been in this store. I went to another location and the fact that the employee did not speak upon entry, that turned me off so I ran into this location. While it was busy, I was surprised that the two employees, one of which was the manager, took care of every single customer. Each person that walked thru that door they were greeted and I absolutely loved that. I observed a young man whose phone went dead, the manager immediately allowed him to charge his device so he could pay for his items. The store was clean. No boxes in the aisle. The food items I did check, none were expired. The outside was clean, no trash anywhere. The manager name was STAR! I hope this company appreciates her and her outstanding customer service. I will definitely return.”

“The Family Dollar store at Edmondson Village is always well-stocked and has those last minute holiday gifts for every holiday. In particular, their cards for holidays are nice looking and are usually a dollar.
I enjoy stopping in for a snack or a soda, knowing they always have my preferred brand. They also have surprise goodies.

“Not every store that has the name "Dollar" in front of it is a S1 store. the Dollar Tree stores are always $1 or less. Some things maybe a little higher. However, stores like Dollar General, Dollar Shop, etc yes the names are deceiving, but nothing is $1. I go to this store when I need certain things, if I can't find an item and ask the owners or cashier they're often helpful.”
