“Wow! Great store! I only gave 4 stars as this came up in my search for 'antique/ thrift' and I wouldn't say it's either, but this store is beautiful and has beautiful stuff in it! It's worth a visit!”
“A Funky little vintage shop with 3 floors of funky little vintage things. I came in with my girlfriend and we were both enamored by the little treasures within and the lady running the place seemed really nice. My girlfriend even bought a cute necklace with a little green pumpkin witch for a good price. Totally worth checking out”
“While in the Columbia area, I had the opportunity to visit historic Ellicott City, and the charming, quaint city didn't disappoint.
At Maxine’s Antiques/Collectibles, I met the lovely second-generation owner, Charlene, who continues her mother, Maxine, ’s preloved legacy on Main Street.
I admire Charlene’s determination to remain a business owner in downtown Ellicott City, which is challenging with torrential flooding.
Charlene carries a distinct collection of glass and crystal pieces, among other things. She provided a history of many glass/crystal companies prevalent during the 1950s, many of which are no longer in business.
As with most unique or rare items, the costs are not inexpensive. Charlene carries many unique pieces.
Don't forget to notice the pink flamingo ? theme throughout the store.”
“Lots of great and interesting finds, however, when navigating throughout the store, it smells like there's a natural gas leak in there. It varies in intensity from visit to visit and can put off the overall experience.”
