Truist Bank is an absolute nightmare to deal with. Not only do they lack basic empathy for their customers, but their customer service is abysmal. When I fell victim to a scam, they showed no interest in helping me recover my funds. It's as if they couldn't care less about the struggles their customers face. Their indifference towards my plight was shocking and deeply disappointing. If you value your hard-earned money and expect a bank that cares about its customers, steer clear of Truist Bank. You're better off taking your business elsewhere.

Truist Banking has failed me miserably. Not only did they allow a scam to happen under their watch, but they have also refused to take responsibility for their negligence. Despite clear evidence of fraudulent activity, they have callously denied my request for a refund, leaving me feeling betrayed and helpless. Their lack of customer support and unwillingness to rectify the situation speaks volumes about their priorities. Avoid Truist Banking at all costs unless you enjoy being taken advantage of and left high and dry.

Very disappointed with this bank and this branch. I opened my business account here 6 months ago. When I transfer funds online from my Truist checking to my Truist credit card to pay off my balance, the transaction does not post for 6-7 days. This is inexplicable, and causes me stress. On several occasions I have scheduled an appointment to meet with a banker in person and arrived on time, only to have to wait up to an hour to be seen. This occurred again today. It's a hassle to switch to another bank, but I can afford the time it takes to do my banking at Truist.

I like this bank and the people who work there are nice. I only have them 3 stars because unless you specifically ask, you aren't given complete information about things or services available there. I recently transitioned an account from Suntrust to Truist (which is what they are now) and they only did that account but not the others which would have become free had they done it. I now have to go back again and get them to do it all which is what I asked in the first place. Very frustrating

Staff outstanding. Truist fraud alert good too but I've had to change debit & credir cards way too often over last 15 months due to fraud charges made by Apple for a phone $459 that I did not order and monthly various online games or apps that I did not make. FRUSTRATED and inconvenient to rearrange my finances with new cards.

Going for that blinding light gestapo interrogation look? Ever want to feel like you’re staring at a bunch of high beams? Look no further - after dark this dump blinds everything in a half mile radius - pedestrians, traffic, people trying to pound their burrito in peace across the street. Nothing escapes the blinding lights!!! ????Seriously though, this is a safety hazard - it’s blinding to nearby traffic. Fix it!

HORRIBLE BANK, DO NOT BANK HERE! I had been with Suntrust for over 15 years & had no complaints. As soon as Truist took over 3/1/22, MAJOR problems started occurring. First off, only about half the checks I deposited via their “mobile deposit” actually credited to my account, even tho they deducted the check amounts from the payee’s. Additionally, they send no confirmation email or text (like Suntrust used to) for those deposits. When I went in the branch with the checks in hand to inquire about WHY a pile of them over a 3 month period had not posted and where that $ was, no one could tell me. I was told “don’t trust our mobile deposit tool.” HUH?!? I’m expected to bank with you all when my job requires me to post multiple checks a day and be “content” with driving over to the branch to make deposits each day!?! Outrageous! The problem is still not resolved and I am basically missing over 5k in deposited checks credited to my account. You’d think they’d have SOME SORT of checks and balances system, they ARE a bank for heavens sakes, but clearly they do not. This is a total nightmare I would not wish on anyone. I feel like I’ve been stolen from and bc this is such a complicated issue, everyone at truist doesn’t seem to want to help me resolve it. I am now demanding a full audit of my entire checking account, which is taking FOREVER. I cannot wait to dump this lousy establishment and bank somewhere more reputable as this bank is the worst of the worst! STAY AWAY FOLKS!

Drive through no longer opens at 8:30 but 9:00am. It would be nice if they would update this information promptly. Other than that the customer service has been okay so far.

Heather C. (Personal Banker IV) is an asset not only for this branch but the entire SunTrust and BB&T combined. I have not met a banker who would go above and beyond to get exactly the help I needed. Persistent, efficient, kind, pleasant, thoughtful, supportive, diligent, attentive are only few of the qualities Heather C. demonstrated. I tired customer service, I tried other branches on that same day of my visit and everyone said it would take 2 weeks to get done what I needed to do. I thought to myself whats the harm in trying a different branch in hopes to find someone like Heather who would be willing to get it done, make it happen. I am glad I found Heather C. and her co-worker who called their 800 number customer service and made it happen and I got what I needed overnight; thanks to Heather's persistent and not take no for an answer type helpful nature to help a client like me. They both stayed beyond closing hours and took no for an answer on my behalf from customer service reps and made it happen. Thank you Heather C; SunTrust and BB&T better be proud to have you on their team. Dr. Jamshed
