As a recovering cancer patient, I was hopeful that an adjustable bed could help me in my healing journey, but I had never seen one in person before. My partner and I walked into the store hoping to understand what an adjustable bed looks like - just a quick research trip, in and out. Instead, we were immediately greeted by Steve with great kindness and positivity. He took the time to patiently listen to our unique needs and give us a comprehensive understanding of the different types of Sleep Number beds and their capabilities. He put together two different quotes for us and helped me understand how I could apply through Sleep Number and Truemed for a medical accessibility letter so that I can use my FSA to pay for my new bed. The level of kindness, care, and professionalism we received was outstanding. I cannot thank Steve enough for his thoughtfulness, expertise, and kindness. We are now the proud owners of a Sleep Number bed and cannot wait for delivery day! I am confident that it will play a critical role on my road to recovery.”

“A True Example of Kindness and Dedication
I want to give the highest praise and heartfelt thanks to the manager, Dan at Homesense in Bel Air. I had accidentally left my wallet in a shopping cart, and as a mother of four with very limited resources right now, I was absolutely devastated. I assumed the worst, thinking it was gone forever.
But the manager immediately stepped in—not only did he search every cart inside the store, he even checked the carts in the parking lot. He reassured me throughout the entire situation, promising to contact me if it turned up. His kindness alone gave me a glimmer of hope in a moment of panic.
Miraculously, an honest customer found my wallet and returned it to the store. Without hesitation, the manager ran outside to find me—not knowing if I was still there—and personally returned it to me. I was overwhelmed with emotion.
In a time when I’ve been facing more than my fair share of challenges, this one act of integrity and genuine care meant everything to me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Homesense is lucky to have a leader who treats people with such compassion and urgency.

“Love, Love, LOVE this little shop in Whiteford, Md. A great place to look around with so many of the cutest little knick knacks, awesome pictures and even tee shirts, hats and other assorted clothing items depending on the season. They also have crafting classes. These are the best. There is always a great teacher whether its the owner or another person. They're all very caring and always make sure you leave with an awesome craft that you really love! I have never EVER been disappointed. The owner goes out of her way to help until your happy. I have done several wreathes, many glass blowing classes, painting and crafts here. Always a good time has been had.”

“Sharingbthis from my daughter Savannah’s page ? Went to the Italian Festival tonight and was passing by the Jarrettsville Furniture, Inc. tent, when I immediately saw “something” with the Script A on it and had to check it out. I got closer and realized it was a hand decorated BOOK! Two things I love… Alabama and books. I was thinking how cute it would look on my bookshelf! My mom asked if it was for sale and was told “no, sorry”. A little voice from the back of the tent said something like, “that’s not Alabama”. My mom was like yes it is, she graduated from there. She kept saying it had been outside, it was warped and wilted, she couldn’t sell it to me, etc. I told her it was fine! As she held the book in her hand she pointed to the “A” and said something like, “I’m Angie. I can’t sell this to you, but I want you to have it.” That little voice in the back was Mrs. Angie, one of the owner’s of Jarrettsville Furniture. Me and my mom immediately started to get teary eyed from the gesture. I wanted to give her something for it but she said no since I graduated from Alabama. I thanked her over and over and over. Mrs. Angie, thank you again. You made my day and then some!!”
“The manager is wonderful and very accommodating. However, I did have a bad experience today with the self checkout. I still love this store and couldn't rate them badly based off of my one bad experience. I do hope the manager does have a conversation with the employee who provided the nasty experience.”
