“The Mill of Bel Air is the only place I go for my dog food. Why, because they are the only local store that carries dog food that is actually good for your dog. No soy meal, fish meal, beef meal and others. I pay a little more for the dog food. Forty dollars for a 28lb bag. I know I know WoW. I have a smaller dog, 50lbs. It doesn't hurt the budget to hard.

“I cannot recommend Blue Line K9 enough. Our greyhound has gone through their platinum training program and he has continued on in their Blue Line K-9 Club to maintain his skills and be an amazing family dog (receiving complements on his behavior around our neighborhood). They have helped us through numerous challenges including but not limited to behaving with guests, tolerance to children (including our own), allowing his paws to be handled, and the list goes on. Most recently our attention has been brought to his diet and his intolerance to various foods (that’s has likely been ongoing for much longer than we realize) that have lead to multiple vet and specialist visits and sleepless nights. Blue Line K-9 has once again been our saviors. With Hollie and her team’s wealth of knowledge in nutrition, they have helped us find a food regimen that, has our dog happy and healthy and not needing further vet appointments. “This is the best pet groomer in town. We have a dog and 2 cats that are cared for here and they love this place. They always come out clean and happy. The owner has us on a regular schedule and always books our appointments every year ahead of time. They are organized, clean, and courteous. Highly recommend this groomer!”
“This place is absolutely wonderful. Staff are patient and extremely kind. The dogs and cats I got to meet were beyond sweet and just want love.Moose (a larger white cat with black spots) was very shmoozy as was Jessica (a petite mostly black cat). “I absolutely love Hickory Vet. We switched our pets here after going for a second opinion on our dog’s medical issue. Everyone has been amazing from the desk, techs, and vets. We see Dr. McNesby regularly and she’s truly awesome. She has a great personality with pets & people alike. I’ve also met Dr. Lyle & Dr. McCourt, who were equally awesome with my babies. Can’t recommend Hickory enough.”
“Just got back from TSC and my guy Will went above and beyond to lock down a $35 sale, which I think qualifies as top notch service.
Like everyone else, I wanted a 16'x50" cattle panel to use in the garden but I have an SUV without a roof rack and so conventional wisdom is "it ain't happening". Will walked me out to the panels anyway and I said I had a plan to cut the panel in half and then do some creative folding. Rather than saying "you're on your own dude", Will said "let me go get some bolt cutters". Next thing you know I got a cattle panel in the back of a Rav4 without a scratch.
If you want to know how to do it, and don't mind cutting the panel into 8' lengths: you need zip ties, a 4' long board, at least 40" wide x 30" high x 50" deep space in the back of your SUV, some towels, and Will from TSC in Rosedale.”

“I love going to Petco! It’s near my house, I can always park right out front, I know where all of the things I need are, and there are lots of sales to choose from. I never seem to be in a queue at the store, and when I check out, the cashiers are always very helpful and friendly. Mimzy, apparently, approves every time I come home from there!”
“A really friendly and helpful pet store with above and beyond knowledgable staff. They have walk in dog nail trimming which is a huge help especially in my case as an out-of-town visitor. I really liked Megan - she was so helpful and loved playing with my dog as he obsessed over the kittens in the adoption area. They had everything from organic soft food to sports jerseys so I definitely recommend shopping here and only here when it comes to your pet.”

The cashier was friendly, patient, engaging, and focused with the customer in front of me, but she didn’t even make eye contact with me while checking me out, was doing other things, and just rushed me out. I thought I was going to get the same customer service as the lady in front of me, but I guess not. Cashier needs to be more mindful of how she comes off to customers of different demographics”

“People and pets LOVE the neighborhood feel of this gem of a store. My Rottie loves to get a bath there. And when we once (questionably) dropped our bandana in the parking lot, we called the store, the owner was nice enough to check for us, call us back and hold the bandana until our next visit. She also gives great advice when you have a pet who eats socks and chews through sheep horns in record time.”
“We would not think about going anywhere else but Hickory Vet. They are very attentive to my animals' needs and would feel 100% comfortable with any of the vets treating them. They spend as much time with me to answer all of my questions and complete thorough exams. They are so friendly and knowledgeable. The front desk is just as wonderful. Everyone is compassionate and I feel like I am as important as my animal. We also love Alexandra and her wonderful staff at the Pet Food & Supplies store. They treat my animals like their own and there is always a little treat waiting. Alexandra knows the products very well and is so helpful and friendly. The store is very clean and offers plenty of food, treat, toy and animal gear choices.”

“In terms of PetSmart there are two reasons I come here. The first primarily is for the healthcare. I use their Banfield service in order to take care of my dog and I always been very pleased with the service there. All the workers that I've dealt with have been very friendly, the doctors have been straightforward and knowledgeable and they always seem to do the best they can to take care of my dog. It definitely feels like they are there and paying attention and as concerned about the well-being of a pet as they should be.
The other side of PetSmart is of course the actual pet supplies. And since I only have a dog I can really only speak to the quality of the goods there. But there is a wide variety of things for your dog, tons of different dog food options both wet and dry, along with a variety of dietary or medical brands that you might need if your dog is suffering from a specific ailment. I'm pretty sure this extends to cat food as well. They also have basically every kind of tool or toy or treat that you could ask for. Bedding, grooming tools, housing, they have it and they have options for it.
Essentially I've never been to PetSmart and found that they didn't have what I needed.”

“We had an appointment today. My dog is usually very anxious, and I always pay extra for services like express service. Since she is anxious inside of a cage. This lady's today did their best. My dog was I'm the cage waiting for the turn. She went in and out, which out a problem. They are really patient with your pet, and they care. Recommended 10 out of 10. Thank you”
“We actually went to two PetSmart stores in one day. The first, Merrit Blvd. didn’t have the dog food we needed (it’s a prescription diet). But the fabulous cashier explained that because they didn’t have a vet on site they couldn’t sell prescription dog food. Totally helpful info. She then gave us perfect directions to the closest PetSmart that sold prescription dog food. We went to the White Marsh PetSmart and were equally impressed with the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. Good job PetSmart.”
“Anna is an excellent trainer! Our pug, Ely has completed two training courses with her. Anna is very patient and is willing to assist with any behavioral issues you are experiencing with your puppy. The tools she gave us helped get the results we wanted. We would highly recommend Anna for your dog training needs!!”
“I came in to get my Great Dane puppy vaccinated and everyone in the clinic was so kinda and gentle. The only thing I recommend is to update the address I was given the address 5362 Campbell blvd in my confirmation but the actual store address is 5363 Campbell blvd.”
“You know, it's generally not bad. It feels a bit cluttered when they have stock sitting out blocking aisles, but it isn't a disorganized mess. People actually ask if you need help and seel to know what they are talking about. Register people are generally friendly. Overall, it was a good experience.
What prohibits 5 stars is the same thing I see at so many chain pet shops: fish tank issues. I can't buy fish here. They do offer some sort of guarantee, I believe, but check with the team to be sure. Also, never buy a fish from a tank with a dead fish in it.
Live pets are getting pricey, but I don't believe that's the retailer's fault.”

“This place has a large selection of fresh fish of all sizes with all items needed for tank care and setup. They also have reptiles such as lizards, snakes and turtles. With an addition to birds and small furry animals.In addition to the animals this place and an amazing assortment of taxidermy on the walls and the back area.I will definitely return due to the helpful nature of the staff.”
