“Great customer care and service. You can tell the ladies of Hair Off The Dog really care for their customers and the customers' pets. When I pulled up, I was greeted by a friendly employee who wanted to let me know that she had a couple of anti-social/possibly aggressive dogs showing up any minute so for my safety and the safety of my dog I should stay in my car. She went above and beyond from the moment I arrived all the way to the completion of cleaning and clipping the nails of my dog.

“The staff have always been so helpful, whether it's helping me find something in the store or ordering it. In some cases their prices are a little higher, but I'd rather my money go to a local store filled with wonderful staff than some global corp. I will continue to go to them and I recommend them.”

“Small but mighty pet store! They have everything for all types of critters. I own 2 dogs, a cat, and a gecko. Initially popped in for emergency substrate for my gecko and walked out a new regular customer. Regina was friendly and knowledgeable. We got to talking about how I wished they’d sell my cats food and she’s going to start carrying it in the store. She also showed me how the comprable dog food I get from Costco is something they sell more for less. 10/10”

“Our Dog Z is a pit/lab mix. He has eaten K9 Cravings exclusively for the last 9 years. He is 12 now and people still think he is a puppy. He has never had allergies or medical issues. I can’t recommend a raw food diet for dogs, or K9 Cravings, enough.

We started back when you had to order a month supply and pick it up from our neighbor, to gratefully purchasing it from local dog stores.

“This is my go to pet supply store. There's always parking right out front (maybe I'm lucky, I dunno), the front desk gal is a gem. Everyone is super friendly in fact, and my regular items stay stocked. Plus, there are pets there for adoption (not that I need more, but a girl can dream)”

“Literally had one of the worst days of my life and needed surgery so afterwards I stopped here to buy myself a treat (jumping spider). Was told it was too late to purchase an animal (we did go in last minute). But after explaining my day to the worker she said shed make an exception. My day went from one of the worst days of my life to having something to look forward too again. I understand rules are meant to be followed but you never know what happened in somebodys day and I just wanted to write them a review because they turned my entire day from being awful into being able to have something to look forward too. Even though everybody was busy closing and cleaning they took time out for me to choose and purchase my spider. Every single worker in there was so kind and even told me that they hope im feeling better. A little kindness goes a long way and I will go out of my way to come to this petsmart anytime I need something because of how kind they were. I am very appreciative of all the workers there tonight and cant wait to come back and visit again.”

“I had a great experience here ♥ my kids loved it as well. We ended up adopting a Guinea Pig 🐹 and the girl working with the animals is such an animal lover 💕 she’s definitely a good fit. I was considering getting a small, cheaper cage and she advocated for all Guinea Pigs saying that they need a good home (cage) where they can be comfortable and roam freely. She made suggestions without a sales pitch hassle. I just loved her attitude, I like seeing animal lovers working with animals, perfecto!

At the register, I was told that I saved $60, which was not true. I also ended up paying more for the Guinea then what was listed-maybe they should be more clear with prices or anything they’re adding on to the price, otherwise, great visit. 🥰”

I live in middle river and pass up two pet stores to come to the Golden Ring branch.
The selections are great and so are some of the prices.”

“This place has a large selection of fresh fish of all sizes with all items needed for tank care and setup. They also have reptiles such as lizards, snakes and turtles. With an addition to birds and small furry animals.In addition to the animals this place and an amazing assortment of taxidermy on the walls and the back area.I will definitely return due to the helpful nature of the staff.”
