“This place is wonderful! The owner and operations manager are very friendly and customer service oriented. They respond promptly and are very courteous, respectful and focused. I rented the Grey Room for a party with the Blast Package which allows for usage of the moon bounces for your guests. There are several rooms available to rent, and you can tour the facility before booking. The facility is clean and also smells nice. There are nice well lit restrooms, which are also clean. The area with the moon bounces (there are 4-5 varying in size) is well lit, secure and clean as well. There are also plenty of chairs for those supervising the kiddos to sit in the moon bounce area. During our rental Mr. Randy was there to check on our needs, bring more trash bags, tables or chairs when needed. He answered any questions we had, and he also greeted and directed guests upon arrival. It was a great experience. They have booking and payment online or in person. Big pluses: rooms available to rent of varying sizes/capacity, you can bring your own food or use one of their vendors for catering, the moon bounce area is available for use for the extent of your event, and not limited to 45 or 90 minutes, you can decorate how you want (no attaching to walls and no glitter or confetti), there’s bluetooth to play music in every room, there are TVs in every room and in the moon bounce area. Plenty of free parking. You can’t go wrong with MPK Cabaret!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Very pretty, but unclear what there actually is to do there. Pretty little walk, pretty garden, but I don't think there were any buildings to go into, and no interpretation that we could find.It was nice! Especially in nice weather. Maybe not worth a drive on its own, but if you're going to Alexandria anyway, it's a nice quick stop!”
“I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. I had my husband's 50th birthday event here. The Mallard's were warm and approachable during booking. On the day of the event, the staff Kim and Stephan were helpful and professional. The banquet space was beautifully decorated. It's equipped with a beautiful foyer, large stage, decorated hall with mirrors, lights, and chandeliers. The bathrooms were clean and stockedwith soap toilet paper. The bar area was spacious with a lounge area that had a built in fireplace and T.V. I would definitely recommend this gem to anyone having an event.”

“My choice for my Staycation. Perfect location in regards to several tourist attractions in the Mount Vernon Virginia area. My room was comfortable and very clean. This hotel has been remodeled and it shows. It's beautiful. Hotel was peaceful and quiet. I slept soundly. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The Peloton bike was a great add on. Breakfast was hot and delicious with several choices. Great stay.”

“Excellent location! One block away from King Street - you can't really go wrong if you're interested in Old Towne Alexandria. It's in pretty convenient driving distance anywhere else. The room was nice and quiet. I had an upper floor corner room with a queen bed. It was all I needed, so no big deal, but it was a little small. The bar downstairs was great. You've got to try one of the signature cocktails! The staff was friendly and accommodating for the most part. There is no on-site gym, which was a bummer for me. They do offer access to Snap Fitness on King Street - about 4 blocks away.”

“Hands down, the best experience during our 5-day trip in the area. Abby was splendid!We went in knowing there’s a good chance we won’t escape. It was a group of just three: myself (perpetual escape room failure) and my two kids (8, 10, and their first experience). Abby was SO enthusiastic! Her excitement was just contagious, I cannot think of a better way to introduce my kids to escape rooms than through Abby’s instruction and guidance. The kids and I enjoyed every second of the quest Temple of Doom.While this trip was really supposed to be about checking off historical sites, this Escape room company and employee was the highlight and gave us some happy, positive memories. The kids are going back to school soon and this will probably be the only thing they talk about! :-)”
“If you want a no hassle party, where staff are engaged with the kids, checking in with host about what will happen next, then have a kids party at Dynamic Gymnastics. They were set up early, met us at the door, set up food, decorations and we're so efficient. Coach Rorie your team rocks.”
“We had our wedding ceremony in the garden at the Lee-Fendall House and it was perfect! The garden is truly magical in May when we got married and we just had the best experience. Staff was so great to work with and we love the wedding photos from our day. Would recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful outdoor venue.”
“We recently had our son's 4th birthday party here and could not have been happier with how it went! The kids all had a blast, and the teachers were so thoughtful, creative, and patient with them. From the set-up and clean-up being done by the teachers, to the goodie bags that were provided, it was such a stress-free party for us. We had selected an aquarium theme, and there were adorable ocean life-themed project stations set up that worked for our son’s 3-4 year old friends as well as their younger siblings. They were all so proud of what they made and got to take home. The teachers went above and beyond for us - we are truly grateful. We can’t wait to come back here and will be recommending it to everyone we know!”

“Having guests in town, I sought out entertainment for our group and decided to contact AMF Marlow Heights Lanes. Initially, I encountered some difficulty with the reception from the young lady who answered the phone. However, upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised by the assistance provided by Matt. He promptly added us to the waiting list, personally notifying me when a lane became available, and later checked in to ensure everything was going smoothly with our group. Matt's attentive and proactive approach to customer service did not go unnoticed. I commend him for his outstanding service.”
“I would first start by saying that this hotel excelled in customer service. Though the first night we arrived on a special occasion for a weekend staycation my wife & I were kind of thrown by the initial greeting and hospitality we received. Being that I have been in customer service for over 15 years , some the top things in customer service are "first impression " and making sure the "customer is comfortable" in which the initial front desk receptionist did not accomplish. However the next morning with stellar team members like Mr. Solomon , Mr. Dallas and Ms. Iom and Ms. Ashley . I must say they made the rest of our stay pleasant, and I do believe that wont be our last time with this establishment.”

“The staff is excellent. The rooms are big and spacey. The beds are big and comfortable and you sleep like a baby too.Rooms: Big closet space. The room that I am in has a rocking chair in it. A kitchen table. Lots of plugs.Nearby activities: Nothing really to do, but lots of restaurants to choose from.Safety: Lots of cameras but in the main room.Walkability: Wheel chair parking and a ramp too.”

“If you are considering this hotel, you are looking at either location or price. While this is not a luxury hotel, you do get good value for your dollar. The rooms are nice and the location is easy access to the freeway, the base or the metro station depending on where you want to go. The drive into DC is about 20-30 min without traffic and about 45 with traffic, so not too bad. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and there is a nice continental breakfast in the morning. I would stay here again if my travels took me back to the area.”

“Parking took 45 minutes. In the Garage, once you go to the top of the garage the only way down is to leave. The Theater was outstanding with polite ushers giving directions. It was clean and had excellent acoustics.”
