“I came to ArtistAngle Gallery with an idea of a shadow box in mind and it came to life. While a little long, I do want to properly articulate this exceptional experience here. I was looking to create a shadow box for a best friend's wedding. The kind of friend that you've known your whole life. And as someone who is indecisive and had a million ideas, sifting through them all was difficult; but Jennifer and her team made it happen. We started with probably a hundred photos, lists of flowers, colors, thinking about adding sand, no concept of depth. It was chaos. Jennifer and team helped distill the many ideas one at a time by playing around with layout, orientation, accenting, size, etc. That is, getting to the very essence of what this piece of work represented. During the process, Jennifer came to learn more about me and that of my friend, and the relationship thereof which only further enriched the art itself. When artists become as passionate as you, it is a wonderful feeling, and I saw that here. This was a complicated project: to imitate the personality of two people yet elevate it while keeping it like ‘them’. We knocked it out of the park. Being meticulous and handling with care of both the material and personality was exceptional. I cannot recommend Jennifer and her team at Artist Angle Gallery highly enough. They truly animated an abstract idea of mine into something that will last a lifetime and is full of love. Creating shadowboxes can be difficult but you can put your trust here.”

“This place is a real gem. The pottery is beautiful and diverse. They have pottery made by local artists as well as artists from different states. I noticed that not all of the pottery had artist information available, so I asked the person working at the cash register. He immediately knew the artist after looking at the piece. The prices were really great too. Some people might find the pottery expensive, but the amount of work and dedication it takes to make these things is substantial. I also really love this place because they are connected to a pottery studio (Frederick Clay Studio) that offers classes and internships.”
