Celebration Cellars Winery is a boutique winery and charming destination nestled high in the Catoctin Mountains of Frederick, Maryland. It is a hidden gem, described as awesome and worth a visit. The winery offers spectacular and beautiful views, creating a picturesque backdrop and a special, intimate atmosphere with a close-knit, homey yet professional feel. The owners provide excellent, fabulous, and impeccable hospitality, noted for being so nice, attentive, and passionate in service. They are knowledgeable and generous hosts, warmly welcoming guests, answering questions, and sharing insightful information about the wines. The experience includes guided wine tastings with a wide range of delicious, flavorful, and fantastic wines hand-crafted in small batches. There is a wide variety of delicious nectars, with red wine highlighted as absolutely delicious. Guests can enjoy the outdoor firepit, snacks, and the beautiful view. The drive leads off the beaten path onto a gravel road, following signs to the winery. The venue also includes a private bed & breakfast for two and is an intimate venue for private events. Many visitors state it is the best winery in Frederick and their new go-to, planning to return again.
This place is a hidden gem! It’s in the basement of the winemaker’s house and it feels cozy and personal. We had great service and delicious wine. We’ll definitely be back!
