“This place is a hidden gem! It’s in the basement of the winemaker’s house and it feels cozy and personal. We had great service and delicious wine. We’ll definitely be back!”
“Food needed improvement. As a 5star hotel chef it was disappointing to see the food lacked taste and the chicken was devoid of any good taste, gravy was salty because it was made with a gravy base. Appearance was good but no taste. People’s plates were half eaten. Not a good sign. Email me if you need suggestions. It’s better to have a simple tasty meal instead of one that looks good but tastes bad. Thats why people left their plates half eaten. Location and service were great.”
“What an amazing local find! After leaving the visitor center we started the walk they pointed us to and saw this building that seemed interesting. Just like everywhere else in Frederick when we walked in we were greeted by lovely staff who were more than happy to show us around! I went in expecting to see books and saw so much more!! Letter press art work, book binding workshops, dark room photo developing this place quite literally has it all!! In our short 20 min visit I learned so much! I also learned that I can come back for classes and once I have the basic machinery and cleaning classes down I can come back for open work time in their space! They have a protest sign making class coming up that sounds super interesting and im going to try my best to get back for some special workshops soon!!”
