“My 17yo chihuahua passed away over the weekend, so I brought in her unfinished food, medication, and a few other items to donate this week. The staff at the shelter were friendly and kind. I greatly appreciate their empathy, and that the food and medication won't go to waste. I also appreciate all the wonderful kitties and dogs in the office that let me give them some love. While I still feel very sad to no longer have my little baby chihuahua, taking my donations to the Humane Society helped me feel better. I'm sure I'll be back with more donations, and hopefully to adopt another companion when I'm ready.”
“This is a very nice Restore county shop. Things are relatively clean and items are very well organized. The store looks spacious, and staff are very friendly.
Compare to the Habitat for Humanity in Montgomery Country, this store has a much better atmosphere.
It is located in a strip mall with good number of parking spaces out front.
We had a good time to walk around in the store and knowing any purchase made here will be contribute to the community building.”

“This center is where all races get involved in serving communities in Frederick. They have been providing foods for homeless people, free vaccinations for public, and many many more....

“St. Vincent de Paul has helped me out over 5 years ago.
At the time, I was unemployed and facing eviction. My case manager at the time referred St. Vincent de Paul to me. I called them up, a nice gentleman actually responded and let me know that I can come to the office to talk about my situation. The next day, I showed up, he prayed with me and handed me a check to cover my rent. I was so grateful that someone actually cared about my situation without judgment.
If you are in need, please go to St. Vincent de Paul. You will not be disappointed. The staff there are very caring, will listen to you without judgment, will not laugh at you behind your back with other staff members and will see to it that you get what you need.”

“When we moved my nephew here from the Midwest after an emergency, he was enrolled as a unaccompanied youth since we didn't have guardianship. I called SHIP in a panic and by the end of the week I had him on state insurance, enrolled in school, and a case manager seeing him regularly. There's no way he would have graduated high school if it wasn't for his case manager.”
