At the time, I was unemployed and facing eviction. My case manager at the time referred St. Vincent de Paul to me. I called them up, a nice gentleman actually responded and let me know that I can come to the office to talk about my situation. The next day, I showed up, he prayed with me and handed me a check to cover my rent. I was so grateful that someone actually cared about my situation without judgment.
If you are in need, please go to St. Vincent de Paul. You will not be disappointed. The staff there are very caring, will listen to you without judgment, will not laugh at you behind your back with other staff members and will see to it that you get what you need.”

They explain everything to you and you can ask questions. The process was so easy and I’ll be back next year. Now I’m only speaking from the experience I had. The Frederick MD location on North Market street ain’t no joke. Go get your taxes done without the headache. God Blessed Me because I filed on 3-5, and received a deposit on 3-11. “The Middletown Goodwill tends to have a lot of really nice items (sometimes even brand new or name-brand) and is a good place to look for second-hand furniture. However, the prices are way too high for a thrift store! Goodwill gets their stock for free from donations!”
