“The staff isn’t really rude to me I’ve experienced, the only thing is when I have to sign in via text message before your appointment, you go through a lot of pages of ads for different medications you have to say no thank you or sign up before it’s completed. Amber was always really helpful & supportive of anything I wanted to do with my health that was safe, but allowed to make on my own terms. I had to leave because I moved too far away, but not a bad practice if in the Frederick Area.”

“I recently visited Frederick Primary Care Associates in Urbana to get my lab work done. I happened to arrive during their lunch break, which I believe is between 12:00 and 1:15, so I had to come back. Once I returned, I was checked in and called back pretty quickly. Everything went smoothly, and everyone was polite and professional. One thing I've noticed and really appreciate about this office is how well the staff work together. They seem to have adequate staffing, but more importantly, everyone seems willing to help beyond their specific responsibilities. For example, the nurse who previously checked my weight and blood pressure during a doctor's appointment was also helping at the front desk with patient check-ins. As a small business owner myself, I know how valuable it is to have employees who can handle more than one responsibility and are willing to step in and help each other. It makes a big difference in how smoothly a business operates, and I can see that kind of teamwork here. About a month ago, I also had an issue with my husband's referral not reaching his specialist in time for his appointment. I called the office, and they handled it promptly. I appreciated that they recognized the urgency and took care of it instead of putting it off. Communication has also been a positive experience. I can usually email my doctor and receive a response within 24 hours. At my previous primary care office, I absolutely loved my doctor, but dealing with the staff was frustrating. There was always finger-pointing, and nobody seemed willing to take responsibility. Here, the staff have generally been much more helpful and accommodating. The reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is that there is still room for improvement. I've had a few appointments where I waited over an hour past my scheduled appointment time, which can be frustrating, especially when you've arranged your day around that appointment. There was also an issue with a urine test that required me to return twice, and the results or status were never properly updated. Having to make multiple trips for something that should have been handled the first time was disappointing. Overall, I still really like this practice. The doctors are accessible, the staff are generally helpful, and I appreciate the teamwork and willingness to resolve issues. I just hope they can improve on appointment wait times and follow-through with lab testing. A good doctor is important, but so is having a reliable team behind them. Despite a few hiccups, my experience here has been mostly positive, and I feel comfortable continuing my care with them.”

“Kristin Benante and her medical assistant deserve all the praise in the world for what they've done for me and my family. My grandfather got very sick this past year and we were all worried about him. None of the specialists we saw were very helpful. But Kristin helped keep us all calm, made some much needed changes for his treatment, and now he's doing SO much better. She was so wonderful and I trust her with all my grandfather's other medical needs whenever he needs an appointment. Thank you!!”
