“What an amazing local find! After leaving the visitor center we started the walk they pointed us to and saw this building that seemed interesting. Just like everywhere else in Frederick when we walked in we were greeted by lovely staff who were more than happy to show us around! I went in expecting to see books and saw so much more!! Letter press art work, book binding workshops, dark room photo developing this place quite literally has it all!! In our short 20 min visit I learned so much! I also learned that I can come back for classes and once I have the basic machinery and cleaning classes down I can come back for open work time in their space! They have a protest sign making class coming up that sounds super interesting and im going to try my best to get back for some special workshops soon!!”

The one guy working was willing to take what I wanted to ship despite the size of the package and the fact that he was only a few minutes away from shutting down, and he was clearly exhausted, kind of ill, and somehow, *somehow*, still managed to be patient, understanding, and most importantly stuck to hygiene procedures despite it all. He put up with a lot for one shmuck's package sending a lot of groceries to somebody struggling to keep herself fed. Hasan is a bad a** of the post COVID era. He has my respect.
