I scheduled a grooming appointment with Ruby on December 16th for services on December 17th. I asked about the services before making the appointment, even questions like "if my dog is at Banfield getting vaccinations right now, can she do grooming with you today since she's already here." Ruby did not think to tell me that my dog could not have any grooming services within 48 hours of receiving a vaccination. This would have been my first time having my dog groomed as a special treat, so I don't know anything about the services they provide.
So, I come in on December 17th and greeted pretty lazily by someone busy with another dog. I'm told that I can't have the bath and brush done since my dog had vaccines the day prior. Okay, thanks for telling me that and wasting my time. Also, while I was being told this, there was some sort of paper being written on and I asked if I could take it home to complete to save myself time when I come in the following day. The person asks the "lazy greeter" who says "no, we don't print out paperwork." I'm sorry...what were you writing on then?!
After looking up other 1-star reviews for the grooming salon here, I promptly cancelled my appointment. I'm very dissatisfied that this was my first experience here and will be looking elsewhere...

Unfortunately, I found the atmosphere a bit lacking in friendliness. It would have been nice to receive a bit more enthusiasm or helpfulness, especially since it’s a place dedicated to pets and their owners. I’ll go elsewhere from now on.

Bought a hamster for my 6 year old, as soon as we got home it bit us and drew blood. Do not buy pets here ,they are aggressive and the management takes absolutely no responsibility and says if there is any disease associated with the bite that drew blood then it's not even on them. They also had absolutely no paperwork on vaccination of the "pet" they sell and also wouldn't even do an incident report and wouldn't even put what they were verbally telling me in writing

Had an appointment for my dog before we went on a trip. Arrived at the time of the appt, for them to tell me it had been cancelled and they couldn’t help me. They could see in the system that THEY cancelled, but didn’t know the reason and no one bothered to notify me. Emma, who was the groomer who was supposed to groom my dog didn’t even bother looking up to explain why she cancelled the appt. JUST RUDE!

Do not use Pet smart grooming service if you want your pet to get a good hair cut. I brought my Westie puppy here for an appointment with Ruby. I asked for her to round out the fur around my puppy's face and cut the fur on her body short. She did not listen at all and completely shaved my pup from head to toe! The cut was super choppy and NOT well done at all. It looked like a five year old got a hold of clippers and shaved my dog. I will never go back for grooming at this location.
