I had an appointment on Jan 15, 2024 ordered glasses and I am still waiting. They only had to update my prescription. I called several times, they would say my order was pending. I had to go into the store to get the truth. They lost or broke my frames, no one called to tell me. I was told to pick out a new pair AND I STILL DO NOT have my glasses almost 45 days later. I should have gone back to PEEPERS.

Everybody very professional from the time you walk in to picking out your glasses then to check out! Staff welcome you in and greet you out. The Doctor is a friendly, professional happy old guy. I love my buddy ??

My appointment started at my scheduled time and my eye exam and the eye tests were very streamlined. I also enjoyed the shopping experience for frames and with the BOGO half off, I purchased 3 since I couldn't decide to pick just one.

Your website says you’re open at 9am on Sundays and Google Maps says you’re open at 10am, yet I’m sitting here in front of the entrance at 10:15am on Dec 17th and no one is here with the lights off. What kind of business is this?!?

Was glad to see that Christian was still working there. He was a great help the last time I got glasses. He is a keeper. The young lady who helped me this time was great. Went thru a lot of glasses before we found the right pair.

It was easy to schedule an appointment online 2 days out. The exam was different as it was telehealth. Pretty weird but cool to have a doctor controlling things from across the country. The visit took less than an hour. The staff was nice and my glasses were available 3 days later. Thank you Visionworks!

Went to this Visionworks today and there was sign on door that read "closed till 10:00 a.m" and then 10:00 am crossed out and 12:20 written in. I went back at 12:27 and they were still not open. I saw staff walking around in the back inside through the glass and waited another 8 minutes right by the door so there was no question we were waiting to get in. Staff ignored us until 12:40 so we left. This happened a time prior but I never wrote a review about it. Won't be going back or using Visionworks if they can't open the door for business.

Went to pick up my contact trials, after a ten day wait , only to find the had never been ordered ! Have to wait another week ! Do better visionworks.

I’ve had great experiences here over the past 6 years. Most recently, I needed new glasses, so I made an appointment for an eye exam just this week and found they had switched to telehealth eye exams held in-person with an assistant facilitating the tests and then Zooming with the doctor at the end of the exam. At first, I was really suspicious and very doubtful this would work, but I was proven wrong. Surprisingly, it all went very smoothly, and it was actually VERY cool that during the refraction portion of the exam, the doctor was calling in via Zoom and was able to control the lenses on the phoroptor remotely. It was surprisingly very easy and quick.The whole appointment took less than 40 minutes, including the eye exam, me choosing new frames, and the checkout process. My glasses were ready 4 days later and fit perfectly. All the employees I interacted with were really nice and on both occasions were prompt to help me.

Dr. Regis was very kind and helpful! And Naomi helped me pick out new frames and gave me honest feedback. She was very knowledgeable and worked with great enthusiasm without putting any pressure on me to pick an expensive pair or choose quickly. I've had bad experiences with Vision works before, but I'll definitely cone back to this location.

This is the last time I use them. Awful experience I have been using them for the last 4 years and each year has been progressively worst. 40 minutes behind scheduled time. The front desk staff unfriendly and they were using a virtual doctor and didnt tell me prior. They didnt even call me when my glasses were ready for pick up. They had arrived several days prior to me checking the status. Last year the prescription was wrong twice. I recommend you go somewhere else.

I was very displeased with the service I received from VisionWorks in Gambrills. I called them up to get my contacts prescription, and was told my prescription is not on file. My last appointment was in November 2022, so, they should have it. Long story short, I would never return to VisionWorks. I went to Peepers Eyecare, and they are excellent!!

Trust the overall average is overstated. Turnover at this location is out of control and so is the service level. People are indifferent with no ability to resolve issues.Steer clear of this location if you value your time and eye health!

Do NOT go to this location! I had an appt at 9:20 and arrive at 9:24 but front desk staff said they gave my appt to a walk in because I was late. She did not try to accommodate me nor attemtpt to find another time. Horrible customer service and how do you give someone's appt away who's 4 min late? RIDICULOUS!!!!
