Today, Wednesday, February 21, 2024 (about an hour ago), I went to this location (19905 Century Blvd, Germantown, MD 20874) to open a small business account. I had visited the branch about a week or so prior. The Branch Mgr was to call me back regarding a previous issue bank in 2017. Never got the call. Never received a message. Upon going back in today she told me she called but didn’t leave a message (1st red flag).I was told to email my Articles and EIN letter. No problem. I had to email it 2x. For whatever reason it was not received. Nothing wrong on my end (2nd red flag).I knew going in my business was not in good standing with the State of Maryland. However, if you’ve done this small business thing for some time you’ll know it’s a matter that probably takes 15 minutes and $300 to resolve and file personal property taxes for the business. Especially if your business doesn’t own any.She (the asst branch mgr) finally got the email after 15-20 minutes and printed out my paperwork. She then looked up my company and saw what I already knew that my company was NOT in good standing. I took it all in stride and was about to say, “No problem. I’ll have that fixed within the hour or so and come back.” Before I could even get to the word “problem” she said they couldn’t open the account and FLUNG my paperwork towards me.Needless to say, I WILL NOT be going back to that branch much less TD to do business. Very unprofessional and tactless.

Very disappointing service. Every time I come here, I have to wait for a long time to get service. For customer service, you need to take a day off to get things done here ! Time to look for another bank.

Very disappointed- again. I’ve been banking with TD bank for over one year and the only time I need to go into the branch is to do a wire transfer to a relative in Canada - it’s been an issue every single time , they cannot save a template and have to reenter manually all the info every time! It takes 30-45 minutes… I give up

If this branch gets more 2 to 4 customers then thats it you got wait 30 to 40 mins for your turn. Highly under staff this branch has.

I opened an checking account with TD, and deposited 100 bucks, unfortunately, the paper statement charges 1 dollar which I was not aware of, so balance became less than 100, and it began to charge me 15 dollars each every month,today I found my balance was negative. So my understanding is that this bank is not trustworthy, everything is legal, but NOT MORAL, do you want to trust your money with this immoral bank?

The worst ever. They lie and do not honor their promises; specifically the promotion to add 200 to your account for opening a qualifying direct deposit which I did. I was told in person and on the phone that the deposit was on it’s way and in progress. I’m closing my account as soon as last checks clear.

I'll give this place two stars because I recently had a good visit out of the past 7 visits at this location. Usually, service is extremely slow but the staff are nice.

This TD branch needs to have their management changed/reviewed. There were a long line of customers and apparently the store manager and and assistant manager just sitting at their desk chatting away while customers started to accumulate waiting in line. I had to try to make eyes contacts and try to get their attention. They apologize that they were not aware there are customers waiting in line. And they are the store managers!

I wish I could give zero stars. The absolute worst banking experience every time. Unfortunately, they are the closest to my home and business I manage. From the rudeness you are met with when asking about the lack of answering the phone or the lack of even a greeting or speaking at all to you in the drive through. There is one person named Callie that is kind and the only saving grace.
