“This place is Amazing!! We've been to a lot of markets and this one is such a gem. Amazing produce, meats, cheese, baked goods, etc... Prices are very reasonable for what you get. Tuesday is the day, just GO!! You won't be disappointed. More than likely you'll be amazed and have a wonderful time. Bring a cooler and load up while you're there. Once you've tried it, you'll be hooked. Thanks Root's!!”

“Absolutely love Vanessa and her incredible treasures. She is so fun to chat with, and I always find a beautiful piece of jewelry, or a lovely gift for any occasion. I bought gorgeous hand painted lacquer pins and some Yugoslavian (real!) crystal today. Saw some really nice woven handbags, bakelite bracelets and various others collectors items too. Love this store, please support this wonderful local business.”

“I highly recommend Bullock's Furniture Restoration. They recaned 2 antique chairs for us and did a great job! Dwayne was very responsive and gave us a very reasonable price.”

“Great shop! Items are very reasonably priced and there is a neat selection of items from the past. The owner clearly cares about preserving Baltimore history and cares about making the past accessible to all! So happy to have this shop in the neighborhood and I will definitely return. Items change weekly and monthly changes to the shop make this place a must to return to!”

“We ALWAYS find something GREAT at this Antique Shop! The workers here are always lovely and thoughtful. We were here when they had 20% off coupons, and had a great find — see pic. They helped us to load up — and we had great conversations too!”

“Stellar local antique store. Looks so small from the front but you can spend hours in here and not even see everything. Customer service is wonderful. I’m always pleasantly greeted and they’re always genuinely interested in your finds and the history attached to your purchases. It’s always nice when you’ve found a treasure and the cashier is excited to talk about the item with you. Plenty of furniture, toys, salvage hardware, art, collectibles, etc. This spot is definitely worth checking out!”

“Crowded aisles full of gems, so you really need to look. My favorite type of thrift store! Fair prices on everything I saw and the gentleman at the counter helped me to my car”

“The Antique Man has unique finds throughout the store. Costume jewelry starts as low as $1! Watches $5! Glassware $7! Film cameras! Barbies! Bags! furniture and more! Hours: The store is only open on Saturday and Sunday 1-5 p.m. for shopping. Monday - Friday you can sell your items to the shop or call ahead to make a reservation. Service: Service here is great! The owners really know what's in inventory and will help you find what your looking for. I found an antique glass celebrating bugs bunny's 50th anniversary. The shop is packed from floor to ceiling with unique finds. If you find an item you want to buy, take it to the front and the owners will hold your items behind the counter while you continue to browse. If you and a friend love antiques this is a great place to check out.”

“Walking through downtown Arbutus and found this gem. Quirky and unusual finds. Prices are reasonable- much better than Second Chance in Baltimore. Got an old sled to refurbish for much less than the ones at Second Chance. Great costume jewelry and lamp collections. Very clean and easy to walk through the store. Great customer service - owner is friendly and chatty. Stop in and check it out!”

“This is a wonderful small shop with all kinds of unique treasures. Some of the pieces are very old and delicate and some are replicas, but all the labels are very detailed. You know what you are getting and where it came from. I got a very small drawing and later bought two more. The owners are lovely people who actually travel the world to stock the shop.”

“Really well curated collection with some quirky/funky pieces to discover. The building itself is really beautiful and the basement really feels like an adventure. Only word of caution is to check the Ravens schedule because the parking lot is used for tailgates on game days.”
