“The couple who own The Glass Loft are friendly and helpful. They are doing some small repairs for me at a great price. They are adding hanging loops to a couple of small suncatchers, fixing the metal frame and adding chain for a larger glass piece. Additionally they have beautiful pieces for sale.”
“I love perusing all the different forms of art at this place! Recently got "Mr. Bug" at the Arts Council, he has found a new home in my array of houseplants!”
“Hubby and I had planned to go into Baltimore to the local museum, but it is closed Tuesdays. While searching for a new destination, we found this museum and it did not disappoint.
Parking was free and right out front. Steps later we were indoors and greeted by their delightful and informative staff. Entrance was free. We were given a map for self tour. The exhibits were well taken care of and inspirational. Total time to see everything was 1.5 hours. The Scandinavian exhibit is their new one.
Loved the local artist exhibit and reading their inspiration for each piece and getting a chance to vote on them.
Outside is the city park which was fun to walk around (just watch your step - lots of geese).
Also, the gift shop was a nice addition where I purchased a beautiful pitcher for $20.”
“This gallery is INCREDIBLE!!! Soooo much inventory! They have some incredible works of art by Charly Palmer, Preston Sampson, Samella Lewis, and sooooooo many more artists! If you haven’t checked this place out you really should. Hidden gem in Hagerstown!”
