If they rent you an electric car make sure you carefully plan your charges. It's takes 2 hours to charge about every 2 hours of driving at best on a ccs charger. On the j1772 it takes 8 hours. And they don't work on tesla chargers. This is all stuff that the rental company won't tell you and that the manufacturers also won't tell you. I tried to exchange for another electric car because I couldn't easily charge it and they just gave me a crappier one when I went for the exchange.

Horrible experience! We rented a car that couldn’t go above 25mph and had to turn around and go back. Then they made me wait for a while. Then they didn’t apologize. Then, they refused to give me a refund. Unbelievable. Perhaps the worst customer experience I have ever seen in my life. I will be calling corporate to complain. They put my family in danger. Rent at your own peril from this location!

I just returned my rental less than half an hour ago and already have an email saying I owe nearly $9 for gas when I fully tanked it up just prior to returning it. The automated recording (there’s no way to speak to a person) says I have to have the receipt to email to them to prove I tanked it up just before it was returned. I only used a few dollars of gas to begin with so I didn’t worry about going inside the gas station to get the receipt that wouldn’t print at the pump. I figured the full tank would be proof that I had filled the tank. Reading other reviews it looks like this is their mo, to charge people who returned the car with a full tank for a gallon or two of $5+/gal gas. It seems I’m not the only renter they’ve tried to scam in this manner. Now I’ll have to go through the hassle of disputing the charge and finding a different place to rent from every time I’m in Baltimore. Stay away from this place.

I have been calling this location, along with the location I initially rented the car from. The car was towed from me in error by Hertz. I have been trying to locate very expensive items that were left in the vehicle and have been getting the run around from customer service. I was charged over $2000 for towing fees, etc but still can not be told where the vehicle was towed. This has been an awful experience and the customer service representatives are not helpful at all. I spent hours speaking to roadside assistance as told by multiple representatives and they were absolutely no assistance. Below are a few items that were left which are pretty valuable.

Updated. More terrible news!I reached out the customer service via the link they provided below. That's not helpful at all. It's just the general customer service and not for this specific location. They know nothing and just ask if you have received the invoice and probably is gonna transfer my issue to the location (still waiting.... it has been an hour)---original review---I booked the car and paid full price online.But I got an additional charge of $89.20 when I picked up the car.No staff mention there was an extra fee I need to pay at the gate. I just saw the fee when I got the receipt.Never happened before. I have rented a car on Hertz website more than 50 times. The first time I had to pay additional fee and didn't know the reason.Customer service is a joke. They just sent you the receipt without any explanations. Be aware they are trying to add additional fee without informing you.

Do not rent car from Herz!!! Because they are fraud! They will not give you car with full gas and then you have to pay for someone else’s gas fee. What a steal!! Even we have record to show them that the car is only have 60% of the gas. They still not willing to REFUND you! They lied to customer and steal money from your pocket. Be aware!!

Everything the other reviewers say is true! I prepaid for a Tesla and when I arrived they did not have one available. So they gave me a Volvo while charging me the Tesla price. Emailed and called trying to get my money back for the difference in cost, they just won't return any communication. I recommend not renting from these frauds.

They’ll never ever answer their phones when you try to contact a local employee. You cannot get anything done unless you drive back to the location.Unfortunately for the second day in a row I’ve tried calling multiple times and no answer. Can someone call me?? Is that possible?2/7/24Second day in a row calling half a dozen times and nobody answers the phone. You should just remove the Call option from Google. Unreal.
