Regal Hyattsville Royale is a great theater for a movie night or date. It is a huge, clean space with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The screen is really big and the sound is crystal-clear and loud, pulling you into the film. The seating is comfortable. The staff is amazing, friendly, courteous, quick, and professional, providing excellent customer service. The popcorn is fresh, warm, and perfectly buttery, and there is a great selection of snacks. It is a well-kept, special spot where you can have a fun time and enjoy the movies.
Staff was great. Popcorn was fresh. Would have gotten a 5 but the chairs need updating in some of their theater rooms

There appeared to be an issue with the men’s restroom next to Theater 8. As we exited, we were directed through the flooded floor rather than the emergency exit. We would have appreciated a quicker response and clearer communication from management.

Theatre is fairly outdated including projectors that are very dim. Sound seemed a bit off at times. One plus is you can easily get a seat.
