“I've been to Labyrinth before, since I come to Eastern Market a lot. However, I recently got really into board games, so the last time I visited, I knew I had to buy a game that I really liked (King of Tokyo). The employees are very friendly and willing to help you pick out a game, and they have an excellent selection of games, including traditional games, modern games, and kids games. They also have a seating area in the back where they host various game events. When I last visited, they were hosting a kids event for Pokemon cards, which seemed pretty cool. The games are admittedly pricier than they are at a place like Amazon (the game I bought was over 20% pricier), but I personally don't mind since I'm supporting a cool local shop, and I knew for sure that I really loved the game that I bought. . I definitely plan on coming back here and buying many more games.”

“Yay! What a fun store! We visited this location in Springfield last Saturday. The kids really enjoyed looking at all. The different types of Lego sets and we built some throughout the store. We each got a Lego set to build at home. It was a lot of fun. I would definitely go back. Great spot for gifts too!!”

“I picked up a birthday present here for my nephew, a special edition Lego set. The service was great, very helpful and accommodating. Not the biggest store, but was surprised to see how much inventory and variety they could fit in there. Nicely curated collection. Price is on the higher side, but you're getting better quality. I would recommend checking it out if you're an uncle like me with nieces and nephews that you need advice on what to buy for.”

“If you're into antique toy soldiers, this house shop is one of the only stores left of its kind in the entire country. The man who runs it opens the storefront only on Saturdays by placing a sign on his rowhouse on Capitol Hill. Once inside, he'll answer any question you have about antique toys. If you are a collector, you'll find two large rooms filled with perfectly kept sets of soldiers from many ways priced at hundreds of dollars.”

“This is a fantastic little hobby shop with very friendly staff and reasonable prices. While the store isn't spacious, it has the essentials for a variety of modeling pursuits, including modern military (aircraft, armor, infantry), Gunpla, and model trains with a decent paint, tools, and accessories selection and a smattering of toys. I am very happy to make them my go-to local hobby stop.”

The store is very clean and offer many items from candy to electronic items. It has a big parking lot. Only down side it that due to inflation some items are not actually below 5 dollar.”

“Fun experience for the kids and they spent about 30 minutes playing on the toy set on the lower level.Good and friendly customer service from the Lady at the till allowing the kids to explore as they wished.It’s not a very large space but they manage to pack a lot in without it feeling cramped.Picked a few items and the prices for these were competitive and always love to shop at an independent store which I’m told this is.Overall great experience and only a 4 because of size and limited range. “I had a great experience just before Christmas 2021 when I took my father's c.1938 Lionel tender in to have the coupling replaced. It's a fascinating place and they were able to do the job very quickly and at a reasonable price. A warning however; I became bitten by the model train bug and ended up buying some vintage train village items and will be going back!! My 92 year old father, who had been a big model train enthusiast, was delighted to see his old train set running again under the Christmas tree. Thank you very much guys.”

“Walked in about 7:15 pm on 12/14/23 with my boyfriend for a PS5 we ordered at about 5:50 pm. There was a woman associate with an FBI (Full Blooded Italian?? ??♀️ lol) hat on. She attended to us immediately. Our order wasn't ready as she was alone and didn't have time to in such short notice. She went straight to the back and grabbed our PS5. My boyfriend gave her a hard time about not having big bags to put the PS5 in. She was respectful yet stern with her response which I completely respect! She gave us a box for our PS5 and now we are home happily setting up our new toy lol. My boyfriend admitted he was wrong and respected the way she handled the situation. I hope she sees this because she's doing a great job!!”
