They really are some of the worst people that work here. USPS in general has trash employees.

This place is absolute garbage out of no where i want to ship out a item and then they are going to add a poster saying the system is down then change the time again wasting my time energy and money. Also this place is very old this was such an annoyance and ruined my whole day. When your system is down you should have put temporary closed before i wasted my time and the employees are very rude.

Unhelpful, rude and incompetent. Retraining in customer service, closing procedures, and your own products is needed.

More than one issue since living in the service area. For one, they were about to return a package until I quickly got the alert and headed to the post office. The carrier marked it undelivered due to address on the box. Got the package. The address was a printed label that was correct. No errors. Luckily caught it.
Second, they apparently just deliver whenever they feel like it and don’t other times. I have informed delivery. It’ll show me several pieces of mailing coming that day. Won’t get in any mail for several days and then just a huge stack.
Been waiting for something important and time sensitive. said was going to be here on informed delivery. Guess what was never delivered and probably won’t get for 3+ days??
Try to call them to figure out what’s going on, just rings for several mins then disconnect. Call the 800 number, get routed through this super long auto system and can’t get a real person.
Get it together USPS. Absolutely terrible.

Why do you have one person working at the counter??? If this was a white neighborhood would this be the case?

As with any government entity, the problem is there is practically no accountability. Also, they have very limited to no competition that would cause them to lose their business. Government employees do not have to worry much about losing their jobs for bad customer service. This is why we have better customer service in the private sector because basic economics says businesses which compete for the same customers will ultimately try to provide the best service and value for their customers time and money. The government never has any incentive to do better because they know they’ll never lose their job or business.

I should have listened to all the 1 star reviews this place is beyond a joke. The white lady at the desk was so dismissive and rude, claimed she couldn’t hear me when I was practically yelling at her. Then gives me a number to a shop with another automated message. Telling me that they can’t do anything about my missing package basically saying for me to figure it out on my own.

This is one of the worst USPS places, they treated us very badly. I think the only worse thing was that we were Hispanics and they even didn't want to receive the package we had to return.

Horrible experience. First time coming here we went to get our passports and had the most rudest employee help us. This girl had such a bad attitude and talking to us with such a bad attitude i’m surprised employees treat customers like this. I will never come back to this location. Horrible

I just had a great experience! I dropped off my package and got a receipt without a hitch! This made me feel a lot better after a terrible experience at USPS on Buchanan street. Not only was I satisfied with my experience, but I saw about 10 other people in the same situation, and every single one of them seemed like they were having a great time. The staff interacted with each customer with a big smile, and the line was moving at a good pace. It was 15 minutes past closing time, so they might be in a bad mood, but all the staff members were really nice and helpful.I will definitely make this location my new go-to!
