“My daughter and I were forced to walk down Livingston Road at night, when our ride from the bus stop left us stranded. My daughter fell and hurt herself. We saw the VFW and walked up to use the phone. Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful. They let me call a ride on the house phone and waited outside with us until the car arrived. They even brought us a water! We can’t thank everyone enough for their kindness. We will be back. We owe everyone a round. Thank you Joel. Thank you all for your service.”
