“All I can say is, WOW, what a hidden gem. A pharmacy that serves as a liquor store, gift shop, and bar? It's an interesting combination that makes it a fun place to visit. The liquor selection is actually pretty decent and I was able to find a few hidden gems at a very good price here, as were many of my friends. I also checked out The Fountain, which is small bar with a classic 1980s (and older) vibe. There were some rare, allocated whiskies available for tastings at a reasonable price, around $10 for an ounce. I'm sure their menu changes occasionally but it's a solid bar to visit to try something nice. My group also ordered the turkey sandwich that came with chips. It was a reasonably good sandwich, though nothing outstanding. They seemed to have some interesting pies, but I didn't have time to try those. Here, it's definitely about the whiskies and vibe. Can't wait to come back again.”

“This post office has one of the most friendly staff that I've seen in years. They helped me after an extraordinary horrible experience at the Golden Ring Road location.

The staff was friendly, polite, courteous, but most importantly RESPECTFUL to me and others.

I did bring up one thing and that was the parking lot. The lot needs to be redone as the yellow line which was faded is supposed to accentuate stepping up. I didn't see it and it caused me to fall. A customer coming out asked if he could help me up which I declined. I brought that to their attention while inside.”

“As a regular customer who visits the Abingdon Post Office several times a week, I felt compelled to write this review about an outstanding experience I had today.

I had made an accidental error on a package label (mistyping a character) and urgently needed assistance to correct it before processing. I called immediately and was connected with Supervisor Ms. Olivia.

From the moment she answered, I was impressed by her excellent customer service. Ms. Olivia was incredibly attentive, kind, and professional. She quickly and calmly transitioned into problem-solving mode, asking for the specific details of the package, including the approximate drop-off time (11:00 AM).

She went above and beyond by promptly locating the package, confirming it was the correct item, and making the requested change. Ms. Olivia demonstrated a perfect blend of efficiency, professionalism, and genuine care. This is exactly how customers should be treated: with a great listening ear and a clear understanding of what it takes to resolve an issue quickly.

On a separate but equally positive note, I also want to give kudos to Patricia the clerk, who was amazing and friendly during my initial transaction with another clerk. ?”

“I find this post office very professional and caring keeping customers moving through their business. I moved to this post office box in Perry Hall from my original community due to problems with fraud, and my mail has been secure since.

Every time I have been helped whether by Cynthia, Bonnie or Tabitha I have always felt their knowledge and capabilities were quite obvious. When they were on vacation, Anton was the substitute and he was every bit as helpful, knowledgeable and caring. Whatever goes on in this office they strive to make changes and difficulties as seamless as possible. I am greatly relieved I came here.

One last thought: In our current society plagued by fraud, I will never again trust an outdoor mailbox no matter where it is. That is where my fraud came from.”

“My abingdon post office made a mistake and forwarded a package I was returning to some random persons address in bel air. So I called the bel air post office to find out what happened and Deborah who works there helped me figure out what exactly happened and was trying to work out a solution and keep me updated. Thankfully the person it was delivered to dropped it off to my address personally since it was on the original label. However in this time Deborah was still checking in with me giving me status updates and working with her Bel Air carriers to try to fix the mistake. The bel air branch and Deborah was very professional and understanding (the package had a lot of value). After trying to work with the abingdon post office I was blown away with how terrible that experience was and bel air was the complete opposite. I hope someone high up at the usps reads this because Deb really went above and beyond and was looking out for me in the crazy situation and I truly appreciate that.”

I notice some people are reviewing the post office because “they aren’t getting their mail”, that should be a review for the entire USPS and NOT just our local post office! “I just had a phenomenal experience with this location. Ms. Green was pleasant when answering the phone and the next young lady was even more helpful. I was notified of an undelivered package due to the apartment number missing from over a month ago. The sender did not receive the package either. I didn’t get the staff member name but she was persistent in locating my package and she did 20 minutes later ? The time didn’t matter, I was appreciative of the effort she put into resolving my issue. Thank you!!”
