“Long story short here . I needed to retrieve a key from a defunct lockbox for one of my listings . Make no mistake those things are built not to be broken open . It took two guys 30 Mins to pry it open for me using bars and wrenches . And they did it all with a great attitude. This place and team are the absolute best .”

“I called to confirm an online order I had placed with Ace and reached Jonathan who was the super helpful in coordinating delivery of an assembled Weber grill to my daughter’s home on the occasion of my son-in-law’s birthday. It was all rather short notice and Jonathan took the time to confirm all the details necessary for a quick delivery in time for the big day, and actually got it there ahead of schedule! Jonathan was most helpful, professional and personable. Highly recommend”
“I went to this Home Depot yesterday to find a metal, NOT plastic, flat dustpan. After finding the dustpan, I noticed they had a ton of these Fill Stick Wood Repair Paint Pens, all kinds. While realizing all the choices I had, I must have looked undecided and confused ( which I was), a kind perceptive employee noticed that I looked lost( which I was also). I had chosen the two Filler Pens I needed, but was trying to return a third un- needed pen to it's proper shelf. I couldn't find where I had found it. I imagine the employees watch customers trying to replace their unwanted items in their proper location all the time! Anyway, this young man, Carlton, came to help me as a courteous gesture, and I am grateful for this conscientious Home Depot employee. He said don't worry, I will find the spot where it belongs. Thank you, CARLTON!!!

“In the past while shopping at Home Depot (Bethesda), it was a struggle. Whether it was because of Covid or the lack of staffing, you would need to figure out things yourself. Sometimes you were very lucky when the staff would at least point in the directions of what you were looking for. Today, we stopped by to pick a masonry drill bit set and the customer service were through the roof! It was amazing! Wow, we were shocked at the level of customer service! Great job!!! Don”

“I had to return a faulty water heater and the store team, especially the African American female manager, were extremely caring and helpful. The transaction was smooth and this store is my number 1 pick for the DMV area! The store is clean and well organized. I could not have asked for a better experience! “This is my regular go-to for jobs around the house and is pretty much like any other Home Depot except for two things: 1. There are plenty of employees around, but most aren't of much help finding things or answering questions and 2. While they have a good selection and stock of standard fasteners, their metric and specialty fasteners are a hot mess. I would suggest you go to an Ace Hardware if you need metric fasteners.”
