“I love this place. I have been coming here for years and love all the sales they have. Make sure to subscribe to text alerts so that you know what sales are going on. I love this time of year because they will have buy one suit and get 2 free! They have so many stylish suits and a great selection of ties, socks, fragrances and whatever else you need to look your best. Unfortunately the tailoring here is not done very well and since I have taken my suits elsewhere but that's not enough of an issue for me to give less than a 5 star.”

“We cannot recommend Roger with Hall Madden in Washington D.C. enough! Roger went above and beyond to fit my fiancée with the his custom tux and with his dress shirts for our engagement photos. He helped recommend fabrics, colors and styles to provide the exact look we wanted for both the photos and wedding day, while also keeping our budget in mind. Roger’s knowledge of garment fitting and attention to detail resulted in a fit that was perfect on the first try and required no additional alterations. This took so much stress off from us and meant that we got to check the box for having his tux earlier than expected. “How have I not known about this place?! A couple of my coworkers told me about home court so I figured I’d stop in. It’s in an unassuming location based out of a White House tucked away in downtown silver spring. They resell clothing ranging from popular streetwear brands to designer labels and an extensive footwear collection. I went in with a couple items to sell. They took my pair of Rick Owens Creatch cargos and gave me $200. That’s a very reasonable price given I paid probably 600 for them. Didn’t take my McQueen boots because they said they don’t have a good resale value. I was very impressed with the designer selection. They have a lot of rare stuff that’s in great condition, some even brand new! Their staff is extremely helpful and friendly. I will definitely be back to sell some more and browse the new selection. If you’re looking to sell or buy some heat, this is the place to go!”

“Amazing service. Really timely turn around on renting a tux. I'm a larger person and they found everything to make it work for me, multiple options and everything went great. “If you want great service, quality tuxedos, and a local business, go to Lustre Formal Wear. Literally a block from the Capitol, Tony and his wife own this business the last many years.Although they do same service without extra charges, I came to Tony a month ahead of a formal wedding. Going on a Friday afternoon, there was no wait. Tony measured, fitted, and built the right tuxedo for me with matching shoes. The cost was around $250.The entire fitting experience took around 20 minutes! If you’re hungry, visit Le Bon Cafe for French toast afterwards.”

He has a broad range of ideas and you can come out with perfectly fitted work attire or a flashy night on the town outfit that is as unique as your heart desires. Milo is creative, but is also practical. He knows what makes sense and encourages people to be bold when designing their dream suits. Lastly, I have always been appreciative of his sincerity. Yesterday I went into the store and it was a little disoriented because of restocking items and clearance items being organized etc. It turns out I had to return to the same store to return an item and it was IN PERFECT CLEAN AND ORGANIZED, I WAS SO IMPRESSED AND I AM OCD!!!! “The Bethesda location has STUNNING staff. I came in yesterday, not even really to buy just to look, and I was helped by Elizabeth (Liz). She was so nice, pleasant, and conversational. She stayed with me while I looked around, making small talk, and I kept talking about how amazing the store smelled. I ended up buying a diffuser. While we chatted, there was a nice gentlemen steaming the clothes. “If you're looking for a fantastic tailor, unique, beautiful clothing pieces, or gorgeous shoes, Everard's is 100% the place to be. I had an $800, fully sequined, jumpsuit tailored at Everard's Clothing. I thought this would take at least 3 days to alter. They called the next day to let me know it was ready. It fits like a glove and looks absolutely perfect! I'm from the deep south and since moving to DC (almost 4 years ago), I have rarely experienced such kindness and hospitality as what Everard's Clothing has shown me. “Shopping for heavy clothes and timeless classic wool jackets in August was a bit unexpected given the sauna like heat of DC. That said this place is a gem. I originally looked online for some clothes but strongly recommend going in person as the clothing cuts vary from the sizes I normally take. Love the heavy duty look and feel of sturdy button fly supply pants and the zippered fly field cargo pants. The red wool Mackinaw jacket shirt in XL was so large in the chest and sleeves...I think two people could fit inside. Yet the xl service shirts fit me true to size. Anyway thank goodness for Nick in the DC location. He was very familiar with the generous jacket cuts and made finding the right size and processing a return stress free. I took a medium in the wool jacket btw. If you are someone obsessed with old school durability and quality in your fall and winter clothes...you must check this place out. I will definitely be back to pick up a pair of unwashed hard jeans which caught my eye when it gets a bit cooler. They are super stiff and look great with a cuff.”

My brother was on the phone speaker and asked John specific details and he knew the answers. I showed him a picture of the suit and found me a pair to match a dark grey and navy.He also made sure I would get them by Thursday.John is great! “5.11 has some nice t-shirts that wick away the moisture. I get them on sale when the seasons change. The store is nice, and sometimes you can catch a good end of season sale, a $150 Permaloft jacket for $60. Their online store has some end is season sales as well.”
