“Back in March this year in 2025, a cat wandered onto my property. I wasn’t sure if it was feral because it did not approach me.
I put food out and finally in August I was able to get close. She even lassoed my Stella Artois beer.
Unfortunately in October a coyote bit her on her back and she had multiple fractures.
I took her to emmitsburg veterinary hospital and they gave me some options. But I know from prior experience that the bills can add up for a cat in dire straits.
So I had to put the cat to sleep. But Emmitsburg veterinary hospital understood and even sent a condolences card.”

“KMVS provided a professional, knowledgeable and most importantly, personal experience to our canine kids. The exam was thorough and I felt my concerns as a pet parent were both heard and addressed. Appt did not feel rushed. My dogs were more comfortable in their own home, our backs were spared from lifting them in and out of car and the stress level was reduced.
I was impressed with comprehensive approach including diet, activity levels, and ideas for replacement healthy treats in addition to necessary meds.
