I took my fur girl for a bath and nail clipping, because she has anxiety about the process, especially walking through the lobby, they had us come through the back door where they literally rolled out the “red carpet” for her. “AMAZING EXPERIENCE! I took my cat Bella to visit them for a sanitary trim and her nails clipped. We were in and out of there in less than 10 minutes! She was a little scared but they handled her with so much care and I liked that I was able to be in the room. They were great and reasonably priced, way better experience than I expected! When we got home, I could tell she was so happy and felt so much better from the condition she was in before her appointment. I never feel rushed - the vets take time to really understand what is happening with your pets. Not just what brings you in but how & what they are doing generally. Whether I need to see Dr. Teich specifically or another vet - I will typically get the day and time I need. This is a super busy practice, for a good reason, so I appreciate this.”

“I was walking my dog in the park after hours and a little miniature bull terrier came up to us, with no collar or leash. I could tell the little dog was well cared for and called the SPCA for guidance. I was directed to take the dog home and someone from their staff would come to my home that evening and pick up the dog. The person was not certain of the exact pick up time but the dog would get picked up. About an hour went by and I received a call that the owner had called to see if anyone had reported finding the dog. To make a long story short, the owner was a neighbor, stopped by my house and retrieved his beautiful little dog. Just a reminder of how grateful I am that we have a centralized resource to help us with all facets of animal care in the county.”

“My parents took our pets to Fairland Animal Hospital when I was a young girl and I remember my Dad always saying how much he respected Dr. Whall and team for the tender love and care given to our dogs. Now at 63 years of age, I'm taking my pets to the BEST EVER Veterian Hospital around. Recently, my 8 year old Yorkie needed dental surgery and Dr. Andrew Gough was the vet who cleaned and extracted quite a few teeth. When I took her in I was very nervous but after speaking with Dr. Gough he told me exactly what to expect and to not worry. He said, if anything changed he would call me so, prior to surgery he called and explained further .. I was relieved and assured things would be fine. A few hours later I was called to come and pick her up and that she did fine. Let me just say "AMAZING" she was more than fine.. you would never have known she had surgery. I went home with meds and was really thinking she would in pain.. NOT... she was up running around and even ate a little food ( if I let her she would have eaten more).. I can't THANK Dr. Gough and the great team of folks who looked after my fur baby. I'm so pleased, never in the many, many, many years have I or my family been disappointed with the service, care and love. THANK YOU FAIRLAND... THANK YOU DR. GOUGH !!! THANK YOU DR. “There is no other vet in DC I would trust to care for our dear, sweet, elderly basset house. We've gone to Union Vet Clinic for the last 7 years, since moving to DC. The entire staff is always so wonderful and Dr. Gross has been our trusted vet the entire time, but if ever Dr. Gross is out, we have always received wonderful care from the other Doctors on staff. I must say, sometimes it is very stressful coming in because of our dog's advanced age and not knowing what is wrong with her. But seeing the wonderful front desk staff at the clinic always makes it easier. Rebecca is always so helpful on the phone and Nesha is so sweet and always asks how our sweet girl is doing, even when I am just there solo to pick up medication. Bryce is so amazing and empathetic whenever we come in with an issue, I can tell he truly cares and he has also stayed late to help me pick up medicine. He constantly goes above and beyond to help us. And Christian the vet tech is always so tender with our sweet old girl! Union Vet Clinic is truly a family, they are incredibly skilled and compassionate and I'd recommend them to anyone he needs expert care for their furry best friends!”

The staff members were so warm and friendly, and went out of their way to help answer questions over the phone, locate former medical records and handle the cats with the utmost care. Dr. Tibbs was very caring and kind while examining the cats and was thorough and attentive about providing advice about their care. The dental cleaning itself was significantly affordable compared to other vets in the DMV area, and the results were “purrfect” (My cats even came back with groomed paw pads which was adorable). “THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!! Dr. Fruges and the staff are had my Bru feeling better within the hour we arrived!! THEYRE AMAZING... The compassion and concern for my pet melted my heart.. After having visited another ER a day before.. my dog wasn't feeling any better. I called Lynn Animal Hospital in distress. They returned my call within 10 minutes and gave us an appointment.Its the first place that I've been too that's not concerned with the financial part ,they have your pets health and well being as the priority!! Let's just say my dog is feeling much better.. and he's eating. He's slowly getting back to his old self. THANK YOU !! Bru now has a new home!!”
“Good vet, reasonable prices, but watch out because they consistently have no sense of efficient scheduling of services, example- they will skip a heartworm test at the annual visit if it's not "due" for another few months, then force you to come all the way back for a tech appointment to do the test, else they won't update your prescription. They also don't put in any effort to sync annual vaccines so that you're not making extra trips and paying for extra appointments. You'll have to go out of your way to catch their lack of efficiency/math skills.”
