“This is a fantastic pharmacy, especially compared to the corporate ones. I've gone here for about 14 years now, and I cannot recommend them enough. The service is very, very fast and friendly. When I've gone in to drop off a prescription, most of the time they fill it right then and I walk out with it 5-10 minutes later. When I call them, a person answers right away - no phone trees or long waits on hold.
They also offer delivery, not sure how far. The delivery man picks up everything at 2pm, so get your refills in by 1:45 or so. If you need mobility aides or home care items, they carry a nice selection.
To understand how amazing the service is I'll tell you about something that happened a couple months back. I have a sensitivity to a certain dye. One of my medications came back with a different generic than before, and it looked like it could have that dye. There wasn't a list of inactive ingredients available online, so I call the pharmacy. John, the owner and pharmacist, couldn't find the inactive ingredients either. Eventually, he compared another pill by the same manufacturer that I'd taken before without problems. They were the same color, and I hung up satisfied it was fine.
Well, fifteen minutes later John calls back. He wanted to be sure about the dyes, so he called the manufacturer and got confirmation my medication did not have that dye. They frequently go above and beyond.
There have been a few times they couldn't get me a specific medication. It's been meds with shortages. I think it's maybe because a local pharmacy, they get last dibs with suppliers? When this happened pharmacists have called around to see if any pharmacies nearby have it in stock.
I can't imagine going back to a corporate pharmacy now. It's nice to support local businesses and keep money in our community.”
