This is the nicest Goodwill I’ve ever been in! It smells very clean and is very organized. It’s a little on the pricey side, but definitely some more reasonable prices too. Will come back for sure!

I've been to this Goodwill a few times now and it's been well organized and fairly clean. The staff when checking out have been friendly and I've always came home with something.

Generally clean and well stocked. Not a fan of all the resellers, who come in early and take everything but it's not a crime. Usually visit a few times a month for books and shirts.

If you're looking for a deal this is not the place to shop. The shelves were packed but no one is buying because of their high prices. Do better Goodwill.

I don’t know why I keep coming back. To any goodwills at this point. They just keep getting worse. Prices are insanely high and the items are not worth the price points. I asked the employee to open a baggy so I can check the items (because we all know those bagged items get broken easily) he refused to open it and refused to get the manager. He was very condescending. He tried to play it off and be “nice” but he didn’t care at all. I ended up not getting the items because I made him look for the flaws then… and he found some. Hey GOODWILL stop putting things in bags to be broken. Figure out another way to merchandise!!!

One of the still low priced goodwills in Frederick County. Selection is always good without being overwhelming.

Clothes were expensive and I came for 50% off colored tag of the week but I couldn’t find one single thing of that tag color. None. Zero. That made me suspect the employees pulled out certain color tags and hide them in backroom until color sale week is over. The store is big and I’ve never seen zero color tag on a Wednesday at any other greedwills. The recent review about seeing employees pulling $2 color tag into the cart on the beginning of sale day made me too suspicious. Are you (the manager) that greedy? I like big selection and cleanliness of this store though. Please be honest and don’t pull sales merchandise off the shelves.

Our experience started out fine with a clean store (not always the case in thrift stores) and finding a few deals. However, $20 for a vintage Pyrex is crazy! You're a thrift store not an antique shop! Very Bradley bags were hanging with the linens and tagged "linen". Weird. Just because something is made from fabric does not mean it's a linen.
Our bad customer service experience happened during checkout. We had an employee put something heavy up at the counter while we continued shopping. When we went to pay (10 minutes later), another employee had already returned the item to the floor so we had to wait while they went to find it again.
Then I went to put three clothing items on the checkout counter and got scolded like a child by the cashier "don't put things on top of the hangers".... There were a few hangers sitting on the counter -- I don't know why --- but it was a small counter so I'm not sure where I was expected to put my items.
A professional way to handle that would have been to remove the hangers from the counter allowing a paying customer space to put their items down.
Nothing horrific but probably won't go back any time soon.

Tyler is the best manager at that store. He should definitely be the head manager there.

Good selection of merchandise. Well organized. Friendly customer service. As others noted, prices seem to have gone up quite a bit.

Visited this location over the weekend while visiting Frederick, MD. I don't know if it's just a thing for this area or Maryland as a whole, but they don't have dressing rooms. None, nada, and it's a good three + years post Covid! For that reason, I only glanced thru the clothing as I am hard to fit. Prices were all over the place. New with tags items I purchased (knowing for sure they would fit) was a long cardigan from Kohl's for $3.99 and new w/ tags Old Navy jeans for $6.99, yet a velvet like top I was eyeing up, that obviously was well loved as the label was very faded was $6.99! I came mainly for hardgoods and kids toys. Kids toy selection wasn't as vast as other locations, the art selection was also pretty light. Housewares were plentiful, but pricing was high. Some items were higher than the original price tags from the Dollar General! I was shocked at the pricing for the small appliances. Crock pots with cracks and baked on grease for $19.99, some as high as $29.99, and electric skillets missing their cords for the same price. Overall the place was clean and the clothing was pretty well organized. The hardgoods racks are a mess, especially since the switch to the black wired shelving. Employees were friendly but if transgender and gender bender people bother you best to stay away as the cashier was very much so. Bring your own bags and they get fined if they give you plastic. Be prepared to take a risk on clothing since there is no dressing rooms (but they do have a 7 day return policy!), and do check the color of the week on the sign at the door for 50% savings.
