The other morning I was getting air in my tires at Highs and an employee named Eddie walked by sweeping the parking lot and asked if I was OK and made small talk. He left but then came back out when he noticed I was out there for several minutes. The machine wasn’t correctly filling my tires, and he figured something was wrong.He had a small stuffed cow toy for my 3 year old son to keep him occupied. When he realized their machine wasn’t working, he sent me across the street and said the guys would take care of me and fill my tires. I appreciate Eddie for looking out for us and even sending us to another business across the street.

I love this store the employees are so friendly and kind especially emilee Georgia Becky and the guy that has the long hair and is I think an assistant manager. They have the best employees and to me this gas station is the best in all of Maryland

Update 6/4/2023Two people working registers at appx 17:05. Stopped in for a hotdog, drink and chips.Young man working register and the same girl I saw late 5/6/23. Again just as rude as the first time I saw her. There are signs up saying "we have no $5 bills" or something to that effect. She was openly talking to the young man and said "can't people freaking read, we have no fives. Who took them all?"Again rude, no smile. I just looked at her and she lifted one eyebrow at me.The young man was very nice, smiled and said have a good day". He's a keeper.The first time I saw this girl thought she was just having a bad night. Turns out she is just rude and definitely shouldn't be in a customer service based job.Someone from management replied to my original post and left an email to contact them.Will be reaching out when I get home.=======================Around 22:30 5/6/23 stopped in on my way home to get a hot dog, soda and gas. No hot dogs available and that's fine, it was late so brought a couple bags of chips and fountain soda to the counter. Whoever was working tonight was extremely rude. She was putting hamburger buns away and when she saw me she huffed and rolled her eyes. Rang me up and rudely said "that all?" I just said "yes".When things like this I make up stories as to why they're rude and mean. Maybe she's having a bad night, maybe someone died, maybe she's hurt, who knows.Girl, hope you lighten up or get better.Stopped by again today 5/8 !around 17:30 different counter person and she was really nice. I like this store, esp the hot dogs and fountain drinks. Guess it depends on what time of day you go and the service you'll experience. I'll still keep coming back.

Great service and discount program for frequent visits. Great breakfast sandwich that has egg, cheese, sausage, bacon and hashbrown on a bagel. Wow! Filled me up til supper time!

Georgia, the store manager and Kevin A. were very pleasant. Their farmhouse sandwich is excellent! Cheap gas too. Definitely a great locally run store in Middletown.

Friendly and helpful employee went out of her way to see if there's anything she could do for me cuz I was working in the parking lot even offered me to come in and get a free cup of coffee so I can get myself together

The lowest priced gas (that I know of) in Middletown. Back in the gas shortage of last year (it was last year wasn't it?) this was one of the few places to have gas, whilst other places ran dry. Also very convenient to get to as its right on Alt 40. Though be aware that the entry on Alt 40 is actually an exit. My bad!

This location does not require masks as your information states, and I will not be a customer any more. The CDC is saying VACCINATED people do not have to wear masks, but UNvaccinated people should keep them on, and every single staff person had no masks along with 12 of the 15 people inside this small store. I have heard a number of these people talking politics so I know they are not vaccinated because of their attitude towards the virus. Not only that, but the staff said the company let them just choose if they wanted to wear a mask (which I doubt is what the company policy really is - if it is, even more reason not to shop there.)Don't take a chance with your kids or if you are immunocompromised. Don't shop here
