“When I used to work in the area, this was one of my favorite Safeway to go to. They deli always good. They tuna salads, customer service. Everything was always been on point. Haven’t been in a while till today. They still have the same old when I was working in the neighborhood there three years ago.”

“If you fold your money in half, you double it quickly. I think kids have hair grease and wish they could cash a check that says a reputable grocer's name. Do not sign the check before you go here, that's not for you. She'll draw a line on it and be winky. You should honestly want to buy orange juice with your transaction.”

“I was not a fan of Harris Teeter when they first opened, but they have really gotten their act together, I found myself thinking when I was in a hurry and deciding where to shop, ".... but if I go to the Harris Teeter, they run their cashiers and front-end "tight" and get you out faster than Giant...." that's quite a compliment for a customer to think that about check-out of a store, not a fan of the set-up design of Harris Teeter check-out though, but Giant leaves you waiting while their employees talk to each other, when they aren't even busy, Harris Teeter puts Giant to shame. I've seen some issues w/customer service at Harris Teeter, but Giant is worse by far. I find Giant so horrible that I was shopping at Safeway at Fairview before Harris Teeter opened up at Marketplace... I think Harris Teeter regular prices are a little too high, just like Giant and Safeway, BUT, Harris Teeter sales are GREAT. I find that my grocery bill is MUCH lower shopping sale items at Harris Teeter (and Safeway sometimes too) than Target or Walmart that don't have sales on their groceries like Harris Teeter and Safeway.... I don't like the refrigerated egg section of Harris Teeter because I've gotten eggs ruined from being frozen more than once. I like being able to grab old coffee grinds to compost from Harris Teeter Starbucks. I have grown to really like many of the employees at Harris Teeter, very sweet and caring and helpful. Join their club for gas discount points at BP, and clip ecoupons to use when you use your club card at checkout, totally worth it.”

“This is my favorite grocery store in the area. It is always neatly kept, the produce is always fresh, and they always have the dairy free heavy whipping cream substitute that my family and I like to use when preparing dishes that require a cream sauce. Also, the staff is always super helpful & to make matters even better, they have a Starbucks. What's special about a Starbucks you ask? Well, sometimes... in my history with chains being inside of other stores, the quality isn't as good as the actual stores bc they're licensed stores and aren't held to the same standard, and quality of the actual franchises. This Starbucks makes quality drinks every single time I've ordered from them that are comparable to the franchises.”

“This is our go to grocery place. Usually hubster does the grocery shopping, but sometimes we go together on a day off. We did that today. Monday during the day, it wasn't too crowded. They actually had 3 lines open, so that was great. Sometimes the cashiers here are very attentive and take their time, but they are always kind. The place is usually stocked well and the produce is usually good and fresh. I've found in some of the other fancier grocery stores in the area that the produce there turns quickly. But usually from Safeway it lasts. My favorite part about this location is the one manager is always working so hard. She's super on top of things. I've seen her opening lines, directing people, checking on her staff. She's absolutely a quality employee and a good leader of her team.”

“This small-chain grocery store has a better selection than most single-location grocers, and quality similar to larger chains. The particular delight is the butcher. You MUST have a cut just for you one day, and that day is today! Produce prices depend on the season and supplier-- I recently saw a type of squash drop from $7 per pound to $2-and-change a pound in three days, so watch for bargains. They had Cortland apples the other day when nobody else did (they are amazing for pie, less tart than Macintosh so use less sugar). The employees are friendly but they assume some folks can't comprende, sometime with amusing results. Naughty, but have a sense of humour about human nature!”

“I visited the Walgreens location to pick up a FedEx package. The package contained my medication and the driver delivered it to the wrong area of the store. The store associate, Oluwatobi, went above and beyond to search the entire store to find my package. I truly appreciated his efforts and time. He delivered awesome customer service and I am now a loyal customer of this establishment.”
