“Demmy's is a very good pharmacy with very friendly and knowledgeable individuals. The only issue ai hae is with their email process and how the app is designed and works. I find it not easy to use and understand. I find that many things I want appear to only be to be done by asking the pharmacy individuals to do it. If a user can do the things, that ia not obvious. I would prefer using a much more user friendly app which is easily understandable -- that is not what I have found in using the app for a little more than two months evn though I have extensive knowledge of computers.”
“This Giant store is what you call “top dawg”. The products here are plentiful and they always have what I need. They have a deli and a seafood area where you can buy a lot of fresh stuff. The pharmacy here is really good. But the prices are absolutely horrendous. Giant is so expensive and they claim to have low prices. Also the receipts are sooo long! I get one thing and the receipt is 8 inches!! (I measured it).”
“Excellent sale prices! I love shopping here. Fresh produce, meat and fish. I love salmon and they carry the proper portion size! I can make two meals from each portion. They also have a great selection of medicinal items to service ailments, cuts and bruises that you may encounter!”
“Great local grocery store that is a real throwback in an era of only chain supermarkets. Staff really get to know the customers and you can get some great deals if you go in open to cooking whatever the sales are. Incredible wine department for a small store!”
“I'm not local, but spend many weeks a year in Bowie MD, and this store has surpassed all the other groceries for me in the area. Staff is outstanding, produce is fresh with lots of variety. My Kroger plus card works there.”
“Weis market in Upper Marlboro has many of the greatest workers ever. I was extremely impressed by the graciousness of your staff in particular Juanita and Vicky. They are exemplary employees and in my opinion, both should be cloned. Amazing!”
“I've been shopping here since it was a Super Giant. There's probably few people remaining around here that know or even remember what that was. It's always been a good store. Since it was downsized many years ago from the Super Giant to a regular Giant it's a bit on the small size by today's standards, with not as big a selection as other stores, but it also makes it much easier to navigate and get in and out of. The store is clean, well stocked, and the people working there have always been super nice and helpful.”
“The regular lines were several people long, but the self-checkout had no wait. I was in and out in about 10 minutes. In general, I like this store. They keep it organized, clean, and stocked. When there has been a problem, the employees have been nice and helpful.

“I've been shopping at this Giant for over 17 years, they have remodel, but before remodeling Giant have always been excellent. Now they're second to none, so I second that emotion.”
“Huge and well stocked. You could practically get everything you needed from the store. It bubbled and had good staffing with fresh foods (fruits and vegetables included).
Unfortunately, they closed down in the wake of the COVID pandemic. Giant has since taken over the facility.
I am certainly one of those who miss this ShopRite store.”

“First time going to this Shoppers! I thought they were all closed down in this area! I'm still surprised by the exorbitant prices that the grocery stores are charging even though the pandemic is over but the prices didn't come down. The store is clean and well stocked and the people are friendly. Good place to shop!”

“Not the best experience with buying donuts on this particular day. Once getting into the store at 7am(opening), the bakery Dept. had limited variety of donuts. When questioning the baker, she stated that donuts weren't made before store opening and I should call in my order the day before. A manager who heard the comment disagreed and stated the bakery Dept was open since 5am and the variety of donuts should've been available. The baker did bring out a few more varieties of donuts, but I had to wait between 10-20min. Donuts themselves were delicious.”
“Really quick service, and pharmacist will go above and beyond to help get prescriptions from doctors’ offices. There is a parking lot, though it is usually quite full”
“Honestly, hated going to pick up medicine due to rude service and the ignorance of employees but since they had new team members the service became spectacular! There’s this new guy, not sure his name but he has long hair and silver necklace, he’s always shown patience towards everyone and makes sure that everyone leaves happy and safe. I remember how he helped a customer in front of me who was so moody and rude, surprisingly they left happy and satisfied. He’s a fast and polite worker. This pharmacy really improved the store experience. So glad they found good workers unlike the ones near ALDIs!”
“Went to get a flu shot. Staff was communicative and nice.Also, staff was patient while I had to call the insurance company cause it showed denied.And after the shot I told them how my son thinks grown-ups should get lollipops after a shot and they said I could (I didn't actually want one but that was very accommodating). ?”

“The pharmacists here are so lovely and helpful, and they’re so much more efficient than a CVS or mainstream pharmacy. We use them for compounding a pediatric medicine and they ship it to us - they’re wonderful.”

“I never thought I'd be writing a review for a pharmacy, but this one is really good! The first time I used them, my doctor called in a prescription. Before I had even left the doctor's parking lot, Avalon called me to talk about the prescription and to tell me they were starting to fill it already. (Super fast!). I was able to pick it up on my way home. On another visit, I was able to get medication filled while I waited. They are also stocked with other medical-related supplies as well. Excellent pharmacy, highly recommended! Thank you Avalon!”
“Omg we come here just to get a meal sometimes this new cookie on the menu is always warm and it's hugeeee may not look like it in the picture but it really is. The strawberry ice cream and vanilla are so nice and think creamy they taste like a milkshake but in soft serve form. We also got pizza and a hot dog you really can't beat the price for what you are getting. We love Costco !”
“This pharmacy and the entire staff here are so helpful, friendly, and kind. We have had several prescriptions filled here as well as received vaccines. Every single interaction has been positive. Everyone here goes above and beyond to help any way they can. We had a recent issue with a prescription that needed to be transferred and the Wegman's Pharmacy staff was incredible and the only reason it happened was because of their persistence and help. Hands down, best pharmacy in this area.”

“Unfortunately its safeway, which like cvs has frustrating policies made by the suits. But the individuals working the floor really care and are passionate the make up for the poor planning by the suits. The always have gone above and beyond in answer questions and alleviating my anxieties and helping me with meds instructions. They also give a bunch of extra information to help make it affordable. Safeway is terrible but the employees make it great(especially the lead pharmacist blanking on her name)”

I am giving CVS 3250 Pennsylvania Avenue Southeast five stars because of the courtesy, efficiency, friendliness, and professionalism of the staff; especially the cashier who waited on us even though she was by herself and working very hard. It is employees like this and the Pharmacy staff who work very hard to satisfy customers. I have never had a problem visiting this store or purchasing or looking for a product.
