“Melinda from K&B Bridal helped me so much prior to my dress appointment. I lost my father at the beginning of the year unexpectedly and Melinda helped me reschedule my appointment multiple times over the late spring and summer and just really helped me find my dream dress. A dress I saw at the DC expo in April of this year but didn’t take a photo or get the name of but Melinda helped me figure out which dress it was when I described it in detail. My appointment was scheduled to be the last appointment of the day so that I could take my time and have private moments knowing that I’d be emotional. I can’t even explain how amazingly sweet that was to provide an atmosphere for us to enjoy the day and the ups and downs that it came with. Melinda and Mikaela helped with my appointment on the day of and having them each step of the way really helped me feel secure and enjoy each moment I’ve laughed and cried with this staff and If you are looking for a genuine human connection in the wedding industry K&B Bridals is the place to go. The takoma park location is also their plus sized store and the confidence I felt in all the dresses I tried on was the kind of experience I believe every girl dreams of. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ And yes I did say yes to my dream dress ?”
“I came to Ellie's in February with my Mom and two friends to go wedding dress shopping, and had such a great time. This was the third and final stop on our wedding dress tour, so by the time we arrived I really knew what I was looking for. The stylist took into consideration pictures and comments about unsuccessful dresses I had tried on elsewhere, and pulled three or four dresses that were exactly what I was looking for but hadn't yet found. I was so excited to finally go pick up my dress, and truly wish I could wear it every day. They were also communicative throughout the ordering process, which was helpful because I had to travel farther to pick it up.
Note: I did not have it altered at Ellie's, as I live in Richmond.”
“Finding my wedding dress was a journey, I went to dress stores all over the country and really struggled to find the one, in fact I started to question if there really was a ‘one’ or if that was just a myth and I should settle on something ‘nice’ because we were down to 6 months before the wedding. I wanted something a unique but still bridal and it felt impossible to find, until I came here. When I came for my appointment, I literally spotted my dress in the window, and when I tried it on I knew it was ‘the one.’ But what’s even more important than the great inventory is the people.
As much as I loved the dress, there was quite a lot of work I wanted done to make it best fit my style and body. I did not live in DC when I bought my dress here, and had to make the tough decision of finding a tailor at home or traveling across the country back to DC for alterations, but I fell so in love with Farah at my appointment that she was the only person I trusted with my dress.
Farah is a dream. We did a lot of work to my dress on a short timeline, there is a leap of faith to changing something that expensive but Farah understood my vision and executed it to PERFECTION. She is thoughtful, kind, patient and went above and beyond at every step. She answered every wild question I had from traveling to Italy with the dress, to figuring out the right bra situation and she solved every one of them with grace.
Farah is the fairy godmother of wedding dresses and if you have a chance to work with her you are so so lucky.”
“My son was arriving from NYC, and he needed a tuxedo urgently. Despite a train delay, Ed went above and beyond to help us. He provided top-notch service, ensuring my son looked incredible in a perfectly fitted tuxedo, all in about 1.5 hours! My son left the store looking amazing, even with the proper tuxedo shoes! Returning the next day to drop it off was easy and hassle-free. Fantastic service—couldn’t be happier with the experience!”

“Exceptional Service from Jennifer - Feedback on Return Policy
I wanted to take a moment to share my recent experience at Anthropologie, particularly highlighting the outstanding service I received from Jennifer, located in Georgetown.
After a disappointing experience at the Bethesda and Fairfax locations, where staff refused to assist me with returning a lilac taper candle set of 2 without a receipt, I was feeling quite frustrated. Despite explaining that I had purchased the item from the Georgetown location just a week prior and requesting that they call for my receipt number, I was met with resistance and no resolution.
However, when I returned to the Georgetown store, Jennifer went above and beyond to help me. She not only located my receipt but also confirmed that the other locations had the capability to retrieve receipt numbers from their store. While she mentioned it would take some extra time, it was reassuring to know that a solution was possible.
Jennifer's exceptional customer service made a significant difference in my experience. She was friendly, patient, and truly exemplified what excellent customer care should be. I genuinely appreciate her efforts and will remember the positive interactions I had with her - I think it would add value to Anthropologie if all staff was trained by Jennifer.
In addition to recognizing Jennifer's exemplary service, I would like to suggest that Anthropologie consider updating its return policy. A 30 day return window for customers without receipts would be more accommodating, especially when it's clear that the product has not been used. Additionally, implementing a system for customers to select receipt emails or texts upon purchase, particularly for transactions involving gift cards, would be a helpful improvement. This would prevent situations like mine, where my gift card was discarded after use.

“I had an amazing experience with House of Ketubah! I was assisted by Tiffany and her daughter, Gabby, and both were amazing. I thought the first dress they selected for me to try on would be the one I said yes too, but my mom wanted me to try more and the second dress ended up being the one. I tried on maybe 5 dresses and all were beautiful, but I knew it would be the second dress after seeing it. I did a lot of research to find a good place and am so happy House of Ketubah was the first place I decided to make an appointment with and was able to say yes to a dress quickly. It is also affordable, especially if you are starting your dress search later than you should be (like me)! I absolutely recommend this place!”
