“It is not a review ! But I would like to share and testify for the glory of the lord Jesus Christ and his works and what he has one for me!Jesus Visited me on August 6, 2022 on his clouds . !( first appearance at 9:30 am )قدوس قدوس قدوس ! He showed up in the same age of his resurrection .? with his white dress , white scarve over his head and his bown eyes full of annocence , light of holy spirit .His looks showed like someone was saying “Iam God and I came to encourage you that Iam with you seeing everything happenig with you.” As I was going through violent spiritual warefare between Satan and his psychics to stop them from killing me .He showed up again at 3:30 pm with his face and carrying the cross and Iam seeing his face in the sky from the window of my bedroom while his angles delivering me from the spells of psychics and spiritualists who attacked me without stopping THEN he showed up for the third and last time at 11:30 pm in the left corner of living room while Iam not able to sleep because of the witchcraft that people and psychics from all the world was throwing on me ( spiritualists and psychics that I dealt with because I wanted to balance my chakras and believed in energy healing which It is the most dangerous things to do , and everyone should stay away from energy healing, spiritualists , psychics and crystal stones ) .**** In addition to his holy angels with their holy swords ( right hand) and holy fire ( left hand ) delivering me from the devil, evil spirits which does not love the Christ ( GOD THE SON) ,then I saw the head of the lord Jesus Christ ( having Thistle collar over his head ) show up again while Jesus's angels working on taking the evil spirits out , and Jesus 's angels SAID " holy holy holy holy holy" . And I start laughing with the angels when they did the deliverance .قدوس قدوس قدوس قدوسصاحب السلطان على الارض والسماواتاحبك احبك احبك احبك احبك احبك يا يسوعععع احبك يا يسوع”

As a fairly traditional Catholic, it's nice to know that the preaching and liturgy will be orthodox. I've been personally contacted by members of the Church staff––people make an effort to know and remember my name. Sacramentally, I've always felt cared for. Even if you're new to a parish that includes Gospel music in the liturgy, or skeptical of it, I highly recommend this warm and Spirit-filled community.Bonus: it's one of the only parishes I've found that keeps its doors unlocked from 8am-8pm. It's nice to be able to pop in for planned or spontaneous quiet prayer.”

“My Mother and Father were married in this church on November 5, 1944. She lived on Kilborne Place. My Father was from East Chicago, Indiana. My Father passed at the early age of 46 and my Mother lived to the ripe old age of 85. Even after all that time she reminisced about her beautiful wedding. (After she passed we found her wedding dress still under her bed.) I'm sure there are many, many, many couples who were united in this beautiful church. I only hope they can experience the love my parents had for each other.”

“This place is literally amazing, prayers are good, giving in shul and put of shul options for people out of shul very accessible (they even made a strong permanent tent outside for that!). The Drashas from the Rabbi are incredible as well! Only downside to the place is the low amount of Kohanim and that's not even their fault, this place is an incredible religious center!”

“While visiting DC, we had an exceptional worship experience at CHBC. One of the standout features is being able to hear the congregation singing as opposed to the more common practice of other churches nowadays where you can only hear the people leading worship. At this church, the voices of the congregation fill the sanctuary--so beautiful! Equally impressive is the solid Biblical preaching delivered from the pulpit by the pastor Mark Dever. Following the service, congregants are encouraged to linger and engage in conversations with one another. During our visit, I was particularly touched by the attentiveness of Andy Jones, one of the associate pastors who took the time to speak with my husband, showing a genuine interest in connecting with newcomers. Additionally, a simple yet meaningful gesture from one of the members, who noticed us sharing a bulletin and promptly fetched another one for us, exemplified the culture of care within the congregation. We will make it a point to visit this church whenever we're in the area.”
