I frequently go into the facilities in Charles E. Smith Life Communities. I work for a different company located on their campus. The campus is very nice and well kept. They have a few facilities, which mainly caters to senior living and with medical care. The Ring House is a very nice independent living facility. I also frequently go to the Revitz House, which is another nice independent living facility. The Wasserman residence is a rehab. I come here frequently and the staff is wonderful.Charles E. Smith Life Communities also has an assisted living, memory care, recreation center, and school. There is parking readily available for free on the campus. If you happen to walk around, it's important to know that smoking is not allowed on the campus. And, if you go to Ring House, make sure you pay attention to the parking signage.

The staff are clueless and need to be reminded on basic tasks for patients. Not comforting if your loved ones here.

Recently received a tour of the Ring House at Charles E. Smith communities. I met with Angelique, who was detailed and knowledgeable. Angelique showed me two demo apartments, both were outfitted with beautiful decor. The Ring house has a variety of activities to keep their residents busy and occupied. All residents and staff adhere to the mask mandate. Overall the tour was a success and recommend anyone in the market for senior housing to view the Ring House..

Wanting to trade for a long time now but I have not been able to make any profit. I saw a review on a page about Phillip Michelle and I must confess that she is the best trader. She managed my account after I invested $500 I got $6,000 in a week. Wow

In April 2021 my mother was discharged by Suburban Hospital to the Hebrew Home in Rockville, MD for rehab, she had suffered heart failure. The Hebrew Home did not treat her well at all. They outright lied about her condition, said that she could walk and use the bathroom by herself. We were not allowed to visit her, due to COVID restrictions. Medicare pays for such care for 20 days. On the 20th day, the Hebrew Home discharged my mother to home care, but should have sent her back to the hospital. She could not stand up on her own, much less walk, and she could not take care of herself. She felt pain when touched. Her finger and toe nails were long and dirty, and she had bedsores. Kaiser Permanente then took over the mistreatment. We should have called an ambulance to take her to the hospital the first day, but stupidly trusted Kaiser. After a few days we did take her to the hospital, where she died of sepsis. I wouldn't trust the Hebrew Home with anything.

Its not easy to find a good skilled nursing or assisted living community in the Washington, DC metro area. The Hebrew Home is one of the few good ones. I was in a horrible accident, while recovering at one facility a nurse was insubordinate to my discharging orthopedic surgeon and negligently if not maliciously chose not to wash out a surgical wound, per the surgeons orders and common practice incorporated by reference therein. The wound became infected and re-infected multiple times. After a second surgical washout of that infection I had to go to another facility where I arranged police contact after my paraplegic roommate was battered twice. I did not have to worry about anything like that with my dad in the Hebrew Home. The staff certainly took care of his diabetes better than we could. The staff were friendly both to patients and family. The administrator of the Hebrew Home found a way for me to bring Dad his favorite dish as dad's birthday present during Covid. I was confident enough that we were going to keep dad in the Hebrew home long term that when I started doing better I picked an apartment walking distance from the Hebrew Home. Unfortunately Dad got pneumonia through what at least to my knowledge was not the fault of the staff at the Hebrew Home.

Regardless of the challenges faced by health care facilities during a pandemic, the lack of attention by staff for patient care is inexcusable. My mother was in rehab for a month and received only two showers the whole time. Family was not allowed to visit so clothing had to be dropped off for residents in the lobby. The entire time she was there, the staff never helped her unpack her clothing and as a result she stayed in the same soiled clothing for days. When she was discharged the bag with her change of clothing had not been touched. Mom lost a significant amount of wait that month because there was no attention paid to her eating or getting her food that she would eat.

Here is a photo of our mom's nails today. They don't shower her, her hair is dirty, her room is dirty, unclean, carpet is dirty. This place is 15k a month!!!! Their vaccination rate is only 70%. How about they offer an incentive for people getting vaccinations. This place neglects patients! Keep your loved ones at home!!!

My mom (88 years old) stayed at Hebrew Home recovering from hip fracture after a fall and after Covid. Her stay has been so wonderful, nurses were so devoted, the doctor was very thorough and very dedicated. She did not miss anything during her daily examination of my mom. The physical therapists were so helpful, pushing her when they felt she could walk more. The equipment room has everything and is up to date with all the equipments. The place is very inviting, very clean. The food according to my gourmet mother is so tasty. After 35 days there, she is home and uses all the tools she was taught for walking. She enjoyed all the caretakers so much, she wanted to stay longer. If anyone needs a rehab facility, this is the best place. Help came right away as she requested it. A special shoutout and thank you to Ruth, Dr. Amsler, Oscar, Jennifer, Pascal, Julia, Sharon, and so many others that have made my mom's stay comfortable. She felt like being home. Thank you Hebrew Home for being the best standard in rehab.

The care my Mom, who has advanced dementia, has received at Cohen Rosen is superb. Further the talented staff led by a tireless, creative and very personable house manager worked incredibly hard during the pandemic to not only keep the residents safe, but entertained and mentally stimulated as well. It's a blessing to not have to worry about my Noms wellbeing. The cost for this establishment is very high but it is well worth it.

The most unprepared non communicative incompetent place ever. They messed up on just about everything from start to finish. The preparation for release is the worst. Romeo the social worker along with Christian the at home equipment provider could not have been more disappointing. Even the nursing staff upon release gave us used, non proscribed at home insulin as well as the newly prescribed dose both of which needed refrigeration of which we were not informed. Not to mention the nasty dining staff. So Booooo

My mom is receiving compassionate care from the friendly nursing staff during her rehab post heart attack. The PT and OT is outstanding and my mother has made great progress.
