“So I had always heard of this place but it was one of those things I dismissed typically, however my girlfriend introduced me more thoroughly to the offerings of Home Goods. I then became pleasantly surprised at how much you can save by going to Home Goods versus other stores like Hallmark or papyrus for your card and gift bag needs. Home Goods doesn't stop there though they have everything for the home that you can imagine. Everything from bags to cards to containers to put gifts in or store things to gift boxes in the shape of books. They have it all and such a wide variety of it they also have little knick knacks all throughout the store so you find hidden gems as you go throughout the store of things that you didn't know you needed or that you didn't realize you wanted until you see it in Home Goods for a decent price. I got such a wide variety of bags along with my girlfriend because we use them for different occasions and we saw some Mother's Day cards and gift bags as well as an early Father's Day gift bag so we did what anyone who goes to Home Goods does, we buy every one of the things we saw! * insert laughter* but seriously I will never look at Home Goods the same again and it will forever be my go-to place to get stationary for gift giving and other Home related items they even have decor, rugs, snacks, you name it if it has to do with the home they've got it! The store is kept up nicely and organized for the most part with all that they have available and the staff are friendly and helpful.”

I had a fantastic experience at [Store Name] thanks to Kenneth in the carpet section. From the moment I walked in, Kenneth was attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. He patiently walked me through the different carpet options, explained the pros and cons of each, and helped me find the perfect style and texture for my space.
What really stood out was his professionalism and genuine care—he wasn’t pushy, just honest and supportive throughout the whole process. He also gave helpful tips on installation and long-term maintenance.”
“The store is always well stocked, the employees greeted me as I walked in. Offered to assist with things multiple times. They even took the time to talk to my child about the toy that she wanted to buy. My only big issues is the bathroom. It smelt like straight URINE. No paper towels. Pee all over the toilet. To be honest it was filthy. I know it’s beyond the employees control what customers do in the bathroom. I would also hope they aren’t supposed to use the same restroom either after what I saw. Maybe hire an overnight cleaning company. Also invest in toilet seat covers. I visited at 11:30am, so this isn’t an employee issue at all in my eyes.”

“This Olney TJ Maxx isn't my favorite as I believe the town of Olney doesn't get as many nice items as other towns. The men's department is quite beyond lame. Often I've gone in for what I think is a simple item and had no luck. Many times I've gone here and not enough people are at the checkout and customers start getting irate.
However, that being said, my last 2 visits have been fruitful. I can't find fault with the handbag selection, they do a good job getting a decent variety and one can even find a Kate Spade or Coach treasure among the other brands. They have a price point for everyone. They also have a good selection of luggage but make sure you test all the zippers, wheels and handles, inside and out. I find the luggage prices on the high side for a discount store, but it's still less than elsewhere, but just. (Luggage prices are outrageous anyway, especially now that people are traveling again.)
They also have a decent selection of cosmetic tools, lotions, housewares, etc. If you need a gift, you will probably find something here, but don't count on a nice scarf, there's been nothing to be had for the past several months (May-August '24 is when I was looking for a trip.)
Lastly, in my most recent visit, there were plenty of cashiers which was a pleasant surprise and something I hope becomes the norm. (Hiring issues aside, don't get mad at a manager who is shorthanded. I don't believe it's her fault.)”

“Good place to get some sale-priced brands that are not always in the main Nordstrom shops. You'll have to dig and you may come out empty-handed sometimes, but it's a good place to seek out hidden gems.”

“I thought there would be more variety and clothing options at this location, but I was a little let down when it lagged behind other locations I have been to regarding clothing. There were a few basics I could get, but my reason for visiting this location had not been for basics. I wouldn't tell anyone to pass up this location, but the clothing options are hit or miss, depending on when you go.
Also, when I went, the dressing rooms were closed, so you just had to buy items and hope they'd fit. Otherwise, you'd have to bring them back to return the items that did not fit. That isn't a huge hassle, but it is usually the last thing you want to do.
However, they have a great collection of bags, purses, and luggage. Their jewelry was okay; it seems like it is hit or miss.”

“Really organized and clean.The shoe area for women looks good, but the shoes aren't the size they are labeled and other customers appear to switch the boxes and hide what they want to come back for later. Smaller sizes are mostly sold out.”
“We had an amazing experience screen printing with Beth! She was an awesome instructor and artist and was a pleasure to work with. We went as a team building event for my 8 person team and had a fabulous time making prints and learning about the process with Beth. It was a fun and inexpensive way to spend the afternoon with coworkers. 10/10 would recommend!”

“Like other department stores, Nordstrom has differing levels of inventory in its varied categories of fashion forward items.. The helpers, when you can find one, are always willing to order what you’re looking for from another Nordstrom store. Mostly, what they do have in stock is current for the marketplace and nicely arranged. They have a good mix of standard classic clothing and trendy upscale designs. Much of the seasonal selections are discounted as in other stores of their caliber.
This should be on everyone’s list as a go to spot for much of their seasonal needs. Their return policies and cleanliness are top-notch. All of the sales people try very hard to find and help with selections and what you are looking to buy.
Unfortunately, because of the marketing trends in our current economic climate for in stock inventory is lacking. But we can’t blame Nordstrom for following what is going on in the world.”

“TJ Maxx here carries very similar things to Marshalls on the other level of this mall. They always carry different things, so you'll be surprised when you visit. It's a hit or a miss for me, as I'm usually looking for gifts and sometimes can't find what I'm looking for. But I do find good deals for some items once in a while.”

Update; I decided to visit the Saturday before Christmas, and I did find a couple of last-minute gifts and some good deals on a few things for me. I appreciated that they had almost all of the registers open, so the long line moved pretty quickly.”
