“I thought this place was going to be my first stop while I was out and about looking for toys for my daughters birthday, ended up being my first and only stop. Great selection and great people. Love it!!”

“I must say, Mike has been the easiest, most trustworthy business owner, I have dealt with. I highly recommend him for all the sales of your collectibles. I’m confident if he doesn’t have a market for the items, he may be able to guide you as he has me. I have had wonderful, no haggle dealings on a few occasions, and now will go to nobody else.”

“One of my top thrift stores. I enjoy coming here on the weekend just to walk around and see what they have because you never know. I've gotten some good clothing from here and they were brands like MK, Vera Wang, and Calvin Klein.”

“this is by far one of my favorite value village stores. they have a pretty good selection and a variety of pieces. i've found so many gems here. the only thing i don't particularly like is the prices. for a true thrift store they are on the more expensive side, especially for name brands. there's a loyalty program that they offer here which may get you a couple dollars off here and there but nothing major. the service is good as well, everybody is typically very polite and helpful.”

“An amazing store with a wide variety of pieces and sizes. The owner, Zakiya Shivers, has impeccable and discerning taste in the items she selects for her shop— a great mixture of bohemian, African, and vintage apparel, shoes and accessories. The inventory changes all the time as, in addition to her own selections, “Ms. Tightfisted” regularly invites local artists to display and vend their own goods and frequently hosts special events for such occasions. As a result, Tightfisted Fashion has a genuine, down to earth community vibe. If you are in Baltimore and looking for beautiful and unique pieces to add to your collection, this store is not to be missed!”

“Guess they changed their name from 2nd. Ave thrift store. It's still basically the same store. The only thing different is how the clothes racks & other Items are set up.”

“I came here from AZ Nov 2022. I trusted I would be able to rediscover and refurbish my wardrobe when I got here. Not only has that happened, but I took pickleball lessons shortly after my arrival; my daughter and I were able to completely outfit me for my games from head to toe - many types of outfits including sweats, dri fits, jackets, skorts - on a budget; you name it and I'm ready to play. I also had to get almost EVERYthing for a cruise to the DR shortly after I got here...Goodwill had my back. I didn't get any formal wear. I should and could have and have rectified that since. At Goodwill. I can easily find quality items - good stuff - and I get so giddy when I discover it there. Now, I rarely go anywhere else, unless I really need something new. It's a must do at least once a week. Funny note: 2 weeks ago I realized there wasn't anything else I needed to shop for (clothing-wise). I literally have everything. I remember running through my categories in my head. Goodwill has checked them all. When I wanted to rebuild my music collection, I spent hours going through albums for clasical music. Then I decided I needed a little cd player and the cds are great. I better not bring home anymore books. I have a shelf of unreads I brought with me in my "spare move" and I don't read them. I think I will replace as I read; when I do, I'll be at the Goodwill checking through their massive selections.I've been to a lot of them between MD and PA and I must say (and I tell errbody), that I love the Joppa Rd store.. York Rd is a keeper as well. When I venture further, I've been traveling with my daughters and we set out to discover the treats and to thrift with purpose. We've gotten some of everything. I think the most amusing discovery was the original whirly popcorn thingy. We eat a lot of it and needed a second one. Off we go, shopping with a purpose and what do you know? There was one NIB on the shelf at eye level. Yeah.. I love it! Btw, I have the account associated with the Chesapeake stores that rebates when you purchase. The thrill of the hunt gets even better when $ is taken off at the register if you want. Everybody is a winner. All in all it makes me feel very good about my spending when I shop Goodwill.”

“My mom makes me go here on a regular occasion. I would probably like it even more if I go on my own accord. Nice selection of items and even some rarer ones that could go for a bit of money.”

“2JAN.2023 As soon as I walked in here I was greeted and treated very well. Good selection and a lot to look at.No place is perfect, so 4 stars on this review. It is a bit cool in here. It would be nice to have it a bit warm in here. The over all shopping experience was good.”

“This store is a lot better than Google. I've visited here with friends when I've been able to. The restaurants in the Eastpoint area increased their price, so I applied to Goodwill for employment.”

“I happened upon the "savers" name while browsing a LuLaNo group. A search revealed a location within an hour, so off I went! I donated 2 bags of clothes and received a 20% coupon. Lucky for me, many items were on sale for 40% off. The 20% coupon didn't stack, but I did apply to anything that wasn't on sale. Their prices were.... interesting. I didn't see much consistency (a sleeveless NY&Co shirt for $15.99 while the others were $4.99??). But, their kids shoe prices were amazing. I got a pair of leather converse, big kid size 2, for $7 and a pair of merrell slip ons big kid size 4, for $8! I found a landends, womens size sm spring jacket for $14 and a real sleeping bag (i.e. sub-0 temps) for $10! As an added perk, they do not have the same "no tag, no sale" policy as goodwill, so some of the taggless items we found were able to come home with us. They only had self-checkout and do not provide bags. All in all, I look forward to making the trip again sometime in the future.”

“Great store to stop in and get some deals on low priced name brand clothes. They always have a great selection. The staff is great. Avery was very helpful pointing out some great sales that the store had that day, saving me even more money. I like the way the store is organized by colors and clothing type for a quick in and out selection on what I’m looking for.”

“This is a bins store! I was super excited when I arrived and saw that this is a location with bins. Large selection. Clothes are priced by weight. I paid about $1 for a shirt.”
