“This goodwill has gotten drastically better within the last 2 months or so I would say. Wondering if management changed. The store actually has stock out on the shelves finally and is so much more organized. I use to avoid this location but now I go whenever I am in the area. Not sure what changed but I appreciate it. The toy section actually has stock now. Use to be so barren. I do wish they had better book selection and better children’s book section. I also miss the way they use to organize the children’s shoes. Now it is I a lot smaller. Those are my only complaints.”

“My experience with Mike the owner was wonderful. He is a excellent person to deal with. He is extremely fair and trustworthy. If you have anything from a wide range of memorabilia, jewelry, coins, ect. Mike is your guy. I'll definitely be back. Thanks Mike!”

“Cleanest, most well organized thrift store I’ve been to in years. Fantastic selection at wonderful prices. When goodwill, and others are charging full retail prices PRIME THRIFT is still so manageability priced. What a fantastic place. Will be back again!!!”

“This Goodwill is alright. Organized and the employees are very nice. I never really find clothes or shoes I like but the glassware section is usually good. The only issue I have with this store is that there’s no dressing rooms and they close the donation center area before closing time. It says 7pm Mon-Fri, but there’s been a few times I’ve arrived at 6:45 with just a small bag and the door was closed and locked. I get closing/not accepting donations maybe a few minutes early, but not a whole 15min early. Other than that, it’s an alright Goodwill store!”

“Cool thrift store and great if you need professional clothes. However, a bit pricey - but still better than buying new. Is kinda a cross between an antique store and a thrift store.”

“Guess they changed their name from 2nd. Ave thrift store. It's still basically the same store. The only thing different is how the clothes racks & other Items are set up.”

“Savers was a bit more disorganized than normal. I am a regular shopper at Savers. Things were out of place, toys were all over the floor and clothes were falling to the floor. There are signs in the front window and throughout the store stating they are hiring. Maybe they are just short-handed.
Update: The store was MUCH more organized and there was even a greeter at the door!”

“Like every good thifter I don’t share my favorite spots, but Edgewood Thrift is such a delight I wanted to review it. Super neat and tidy and organized, big enough to find fun things but small enough not to be overwhelming, and the nicest employees of any store I’ve thrifted. The folks there seem to be friends & to enjoy working together, which just spreads the nicest vibe. It’s an old-school store with handwritten price tags in china pencil. Very affordable. I never regret a visit.”

“Love this goodwill. The prices are reasonable and the store has such a good selection. I always find such nice pieces and I never feel like it’s too picked through or has literal junk. It’s never crowded and it is very spacious. Can never go wrong with this location.”

“This store is a lot better than Google. I've visited here with friends when I've been able to. The restaurants in the Eastpoint area increased their price, so I applied to Goodwill for employment.”

“Love the owner he’s a great guy and love all the girls there. I go there literally every week and spend so much money and they can do stuff every day.???????????”

“It was really a neat experience! Unlike most Goodwill or Salvation Army stores with the items hung up, in shelves etc everything is simply dumped into massive blue bins to just rummage thru & find treasure lol
Only thing I was confused about was the checkout process. I ended up only getting a sweater for my wife & the signs all said $1⁶⁹/pound. This very lightweight size small/medium sweater with nothing on it like metal buttons or design accessories came to $1⁹⁰. Weighed it on my digital kitchen scale & it was 5.8oz or 164 grams meaning it should've been $0.61 or with tax of 6% the total would be $0.65
Very confusing right? Perhaps there's some kind of secret one item only cost they didn't want to tell us about lol Just wanted everyone to be aware that the pricing is definitely wonky but there's certainly some neat stuff to be found.”
