“I'm really glad we stopped at the Tourist Trap in Deep Creek!

The establishment is deceiving from the outside as it appears much smaller but has several levels inside. The store is not wheelchair or stroller accessible because of the stairs throughout. There is plenty of parking, however we were there on a weekday during the off-season so it could be difficult during peak time.

The store has mugs, glasses, clothing, housewares, decor, keychains, candles, jewelry (both simple and fine), children's clothing and toys and many more items.

The woman at the counter was very friendly and we didn't feel rushed, nor watched or uncomfortable. We purchased two trapper hats, which we ended up wearing for the Ocean City Cruise Weekend right after we left Deep Creek and received numerous compliments so money well spent!

The items will range in price so you'll find some inexpensive things like $10 tea towels then a $190 Deep Creek Lake map wooden cutting board. A lot of options and plenty of choices for souvenirs. My only tiny complaint is that the lovely candles were a bit too pricey, even for the tourist area. I wish they were a little less expensive because they all smell divine.
