Almost every time I called, I was able to reach someone directly, and if I called after hours, someone would follow up by text. Every experience has been positive from the front desk to nurses and surgeons to back office. They are very clear on costs for treatments recommended. They consider the well being of my dog for all recommendations and listen to my concerns while processing what they are seeing and experiencing.”
“We have been taking our dogs here for about 12 years and never had a bad experience. On Martin Luther King day our 14 1/2 year old lab experienced some sort of neurological episode and we knew it was probably time to say goodbye. I called the office knowing it would be a busy day with people off from work. They offered to have us come in right before their lunch time. After spending some time petting and loving on Brownie, the vet agreed that it was probably our sweet Brownie’s time. The entire staff were so considerate and allowed us to spend as much time as we wanted saying goodbye(even though we know it was eating into their lunch time) They made us the sweetest paw and nose prints as well. Brownie also had exceptional care 5 years ago after an emergency surgery. At that time the vet called us every day from surgery to her follow up appointment to check on her. They have also provided amazing care for our other two dogs. I can’t imagine them not always offering the best care possible.”

The staff is super friendly, there was no wait for anyone, the doctor has a great bedside manner and even sat on the floor to introduce herself to my dog. “Although Brenner is not our normal animal hospital, they helped our family in our time of need. Our senior cat was having difficulty breathing and was slowing down, but our regular vet was out of town at a conference. We were able to get a same day appointment with Dr. Auclair and she was incredibly helpful with us as we navigated putting our cat to sleep. She communicated clearly and compassionately, was reasonable with the examination necessary (an x-ray which revealed serious medical issues that we were not aware of), and was flexible with accommodating our boy and us while administering the medicine. The veterinary technicians were outstanding as well, handling the challenging situation with our cat expertly. The techs, including Chris, were super understanding and supportive after our cat passed. Everyone was compassionate and tactful, even Krystal who has the unfun job of handling billing before the putting-down process, sharing us her own passed kitty’s ashes she keeps nearby at her desk. A week later, we have received his ashes back in the most thoughtful way. Cannot recommend this staff enough. They were amazing, thank you again so much for your help in helping our precious cat cross the rainbow bridge.”
“Nice people. Reasonable prices. This is a place to get your pet vaccinated. They will do all the vaccines and heartworm pills. If your pet needs surgery, they do not do that. Much better prices than other vets. More convenient than vaccination clinics. They don't make appointments. First come, first served. So arrive early. On Saturday, the line is down the block an hour before they open. Arrive early, or go during the week. They have limited hours”
“Dr Feinstein went out her way to make me comfortable about my car’s health she replied to a post on Facebook and without any thought asked me to make an appointment my normal vet stated surgery dr Feinstein was confident surgery wouldn’t fix his problem she waived the exam fee and I only had to pay for the meds which is very hard to find shows how caring and compassionate they are about your animals. It’s not about money.”

“I have been coming here for five years now and the staff has always been nothing but kind to me and my dogs. They work with me to get appointments that work for my schedule and they take excellent care of my dogs. Marisa the vet tech is the dog whisperer. My big boy is notoriously difficult to trim his nails and she's able to keep him calm and trim his nails; I have searched for a long time to find someone like her who can do what she does. Stacey has been working the front desk since I started going here and she's super knowledgeable and courteous on the phone. Everyone here is fantastic to work with. VCA is expensive but what big corporate conglomerate isn't expensive these days. Even with the expense I find the staff here is worth the cost and I think you will too. YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!”

“This was my first time to a vet that I felt actually cared for my dog. I've never felt so comfortable and cared for at a vet. This clinic took my dog in like it was their own and went over and beyond to make sure she lived. I am still in shock and disbelief of Dr. Anderson and his Beautiful Caring wife Nicole. He is super friendly and knowledgeable, explains things very well, and never makes you feel rushed or misunderstood like other offices have in the past for me. I also completed a school project at Alexander Animal Hospital where I closely shadowed Dr. Alexander multiple times. Although my pets do not see Dr. Alexander, during my time in the vet clinic with him he was always very kind and it is evident he cares for all of his patients. He is also just very personable and welcoming. The clinic was also always clean and professionally ran behind the scenes with very caring staff who looked after and cared for every pet that came in. “Banfield is absolutely the best primary veterinary care I have ever had. The entire veterinary team/staff go above and beyond for their clients. People seem to forget that this is like going to your primary care doctor not an emergency room and services can add up (emergency services here are limited just like if you had a heart attack at your PCP) and some are not cheap but neither is human medicine if you had to pay for every service out of pocket) It seems that some people come here and expect the providers to have MRI imagining in their eyes. Having a pet costs money it’ll never be cheap. Duh. These doctors literally went to school their entire lives to take care of our animals. The wellness plan is Lit but it ain’t insurance it is a financed package of services which is super helpful to help keep your pet healthy and assess for health concerns. Figure it out people! Ugh, love you Banfield Southdale! You guys make us feel safe!”
“No one will help the stray cat I found all the other hospitals asked for money first this hospital took in my cat immediately and help me apply for financing and their prices were 50 less then all the hospitals i called . Very compassionate dr and staff. Highly recommend them.”

My cat Rikki is nervous about the trip to the vet but he felt safe with the vet tech and his veterinarian. “First visit Awsome our dog Dr. Took time out explaining everything she showed us she care about her patients I told she is a awsome Dr.I mean it from the bottom of my heart being at another Dr.for 7 years she look in my dog ears she did a physical I never seen before and she is telling me good information for my dog itching this should work never had no Dr.to really take time we got there 3:30pm seen at 3:40pm left at maybe 4:30or so I asked all kind of questions she answered them all and ask me questions and told me what to do glad to have my dog being your patient Dr.”
