“This review is for my buying experience at the store as I have yet to receive my new sofa. It will come in 6 to 8 weeks which I’m very excited about especially after the wonderful experience I had in the store. It’s not like other furniture stores where you’re worried about how many people will race up to you trying to help you. They really give you space and your own time to look at things and come up to you and a nice and timely but respectful Manner.. The store is beautiful and all the products are great. I had Peter and Waveland help me with my purchase and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. They were helpful and attentive without being too overbearing and helped to get me a great deal on my sofa. I highly suggest shopping here to find whatever you may need for your home. They have excellent quality and warranties And I am very thankful for the help I was given!”

“The space in the showroom is small and there are a lot of chairs. They are mostly second-hand. There are also a small number of brand-new ones. You can try sitting on them at will. There are many high-end brands and the prices are very favorable. They are about 30% off the market price. It will be cheaper to pay in full cash. . The reception staff were nice, patient and friendly.”

“I inherited a dressing table and bench and a chest of drawers that were all very sentimental but in horrible condition. I researched refinishing and painting myself but feared I would make it worse and I didn't know how to repair the damaged parts. A friend told me about Unique by Ruth and as soon as I saw the gorgeous colorful lacquered pieces I knew that was the way to restore these pieces I loved and honor their history.
Unique by Ruth was excellent to work with. I was told what brands of paint they use for lacquer and could pick the color of my choice. I was provided a list of trusted local moving companies that would help transport the furniture from my home to Ruth and back. The one I used from the list (DC Easy Movers) was careful and friendly. Costs were upfront and price didn't change. It was easy to pay by most any method. It was fun to watch Unique by Ruth's Instagram account and see peeks of what was being refinished and how they go about the process.
The pieces arrived in a reasonable amount of time that also matched the timing quote. And the furniture is more beautiful than I could have hoped while also being in better working order. I cannot recommend Unique by Ruth enough, A+ experience!”

What really stood out was Sharleta’s customer service. She never pressured us to buy a bigger couch or go for the most expensive fabric. Instead, she guided us through every detail, from playing with the magnetic blocks to feeling all the different fabric options and exploring the various couch fillers. I did purchase the dream cloud, hybrid, premiere mattress in king size. They did not have one on the showroom floor, but her description was incredibly accurate and made me feel comfortable to take the chance. I love the mattress and it was the right choice for me.
The delivery service was also outstanding. They were timely and very kind. I think it only took them about 20 minutes total.”
