After spending approx $200 on 3 pairs of shoes and sunglasses I was accused of steeling by the dude with the long hair and septum piercing because he said I had no bag for my shoes and I was actually struggling to carry them to even get out the door cause I didn’t want my sunglasses to drop. The lady told me they don’t provide bags for some time now. I actually thought he was asking me if I needed help but he said did you pay for those, I said yes then he said show me your receipt.It was so embarrassing to even be looked at like you’re stealing when he was not near the register when I made the purchase. He went to the register and asked the lady to confirm I paid. I will be contacting my lawyer with this matter of discrimination when no one else was asked to show receipt when they DONT PROVIDE BAGS OR EVEN GIVE YOU THE OPTION TO PURCHASE A BAG!

The website advertises that in store pickup is done within 2 hours of ordering and my order was not filled. I was told they have a lot of orders to fill which isn’t a valid excuse. They need to have a dedicated worker doing this orders or change the policy

This store is absolutely filthy. Merchandise is left strewn across the floor. The shelves are a cluttered mess. Junk and trash is accumulated in between aisles and under displays. The only plus is the store is sufficiently stocked. However, Online options and selections are far more extensive.

I would give zero starts if I could. I ordered online and was given a 2 hour pickup window. Arrived 5 hours after not receiving the notification email only to have to wait another 35 mins for my order to be picked! No apologies for the delay or any explanation. Just a horrible waste of time. I would’ve just walked in and picked my own order if I knew it would be delayed like this! The store is a cluttered mess with products everywhere. Don’t waste your time here.

Saw some shoes online that (allegedly) were available at the Owings Mills store. (They weren't). I wish they would put similar styles together instead of making you walk all around the store in the hope of finding what you're looking for...

The shoes are perfect but the staff didn't seem friendly at all. No one spoke to me while I wondered around looking for boots. I purposely made eye contact with a worker (short blonde hair) who just rolled her eyes and continued her project. I'd rather shop online.

On Sunday, October 16, 2022, I went to DSW to purchase my son some boots. While in line I noticed the female clerk exhibiting good customer service to a caucasian couple who had been at the counter for some time. After the customer's transaction, the clerk thanked the caucasian female with a slight smile. When the female clerk asked for the next customer I approached the counter and the African American female clerk's demeanor changed to a more stoic personality. The female clerk asked for my phone number which I gave her and nothing else was said until she mentioned the total. I asked her if my information showed up on the monitor and she seemed to be irritated when I asked the question. After the transaction, she slightly pushed the bag with my purchase inside towards me and didn't say anything so I said, "thank you" she mumbled something so I said, "thank you" again. The female clerk finally said thank you and glared at me and I glared back. I was not happy about the attitude she displayed toward me. Is there a certain set of rules for any other minority group of people that shop at DSW??? I happen to be an African American District Manager for a retailer and we do not tolerate that type of customer service toward anyone.
