Dear Management,Re: Medifast manufacturing Om Ow11445 Cornhill drOwings Mills, MDYou guys asked me to haul a load for you guys and we agreed to do business. I got here at 8:30 am to be loaded and it’s past 10:40 am it’s been over two hours that I have been waiting and the individual that came out of the shipping & receiving door to bring out the dally to the UPS driver look at us and said I’m not done and it will take some time. I replied; no worries sir, take your time. I asked if I can utilize the restroom although I know that the door sign says “No public restrooms” I thought it wouldn’t hurt to ask politely. I was directed towards a trailer out in the yard and the gentleman said: “Go ahead and take care of your business there.” (behind trailer # V213 50, Lavender color by dock number 7.)As truck drivers, we work hard for companies such as yours, and travel thousands of miles to make sure that we meet your expectations! It’s ok that we chose this path to be truckers and we chose this path because we truly enjoy what we do but at times we get mistreated however, We’re also human beings just like the gentleman who directed us to conduct my business behind the trailer out in your yard. Would he ever go to the bathroom out in the yard, or as part of the management would anyone of you guys ever go behind that trailer and use the bathroom? Not all truckers are dirty and filthy! I wish you had the opportunity to see inside of my truck and I’m sure you would have been amazed how clean and fresh I have kept it.I had to urinate and had no other option but to go behind that trailer, however, when I got there I couldn’t believe how dirty and nasty it was! The fact that the trailer is still even there blows my mind. I thought being in the health business is different than any other businesses out there? We’re not dogs, we’re truckers and regular people just like you and your employees so please treat us with respect. If your employees could have got me out of there faster maybe I could have used the truck stops but I’m locked inside your parking lot and no way out. So next time if a trucker mistreats your employees please do not be surprised and with a smile let them know that it’s ok because your employees treated a trucker in such a way in the past and don’t hold anything against them.Dear management, please visit your site and take care of this issue as soon as possible and clean up and open your restrooms at least to your drivers if not “Public” before someone reports your company to OSHA.gov and there is a form for complaints. I’m sure the health administration department would love to come out and investigate such a case and I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t look good on the management or the company. It’s past 11:20 am and still waiting to be loaded and it looks like no one is inside my trailer. I would like to thank you guys for your business and I hope we can maintain this relationship in a cleaner, heather environment. I truly appreciate you taking the time to read my lengthy, horrible review. With respect,Trucker Seena
