The lack of customer service is horrendous. Reminds me of a state run drivers license facility. Nasty attitudes, it's the busiest time of the year and I am literally standing in a line number 9 out of 17 people with one cashier. Note that it is also 3:03pm in the Afternoon. I would hate to see what this store looks like on Christmas. Better yet this will be my last trip here.

Customer service is non existent. Only one check out desk open with a long line. Young kid at the register seems new (he handled my return before and was confused what barcode to scan)

Worst customer service experience ever. Had car speakers installed. When I got the car back, the windows weren't operating correctly. Refused to fix the problem in a timely manner, because other appointments can't be moved. Absolutely unacceptable. Don't stand by work. Incompetent installers.

Excellent knowledge and service with the tv's. Great education on OLED and other tv's as well as very straightforward information and comparisons of brands. I appreciate it the knowledge and patience. I will certainly come back again for my future technology needs.

Tried to buy two products from here two different times. Each time would check online and would call and there would "be availability" but upon driving there would wait about an hour just to be told no one can find it. Very unorganized and wouldn't write a review if it only happened once but it's been twice now meaning the store is unorganized. Go someone else or order online like I had to do don't waste your time coming here and don't trust the availability you see online.

I walked into the store to purchase a 65" Samsung television and mounting wall bracket. I saw online through the store website that these items were available and in stock. As I walked in, I was not greeted (remember the manager this day was there at the front). I saw three men at the front area as soon as I walk in. No one greeted me. The store wasn't that busy as I walked the aisles looking for assistance and each person I saw was with someone or did not greet me. So I asked one gentleman where would I go to locate a tv I saw online. He pointed me to the home theatre section. He didn't walk me over or offer to help. As I get there, no one is available in that section to assist so I go to the front counter near the front of the store where that manager was (Terry). I let him know I was unable to get assistance and looking for someone who could help me but so far I couldn't find help. Not once did Terry as the manager (remember that) offer to help me (although there were two other men up there with him (and on their phones/chatting with each other). He did want to in a smug attitude let me know that there is a pandemic (really, hmmm I didn't know that) and due to that reason their store was understaffed. Still he did not offer to call on his microphone for help or walk me himself over to see what I needed. So since he was so rude; I let him know I wanted to talk to the store manager. He said he wasn't there. So I asked for the manager and he with a sense of arrogance said he was the manager. At this point I was heated. Not only was he so arrogant, disrespectful, unhelpful and rude; he was also the "manager"?! So I asked for his name. He told me Terry. I asked for the corporate office number. He said you can Google it and he looked it up on his phone. I asked for the name of the store manager and he said Justice Walker. I am definitely calling corporate. The whole point I want to make is this. Even though we are in a pandemic, and understandably people and businesses are short in staff, customer service should still be a priority. Since when is a business successful when people (young people) like this are allowed to treat customers this way?! I've shopped at this location several times. I've bought large home appliances, laptops, televisions etc. Never, ever have I been treated this way. I have to acknowledge two employees who although the encounter I had with Terry was inexcusably unprofessional, the two men at the customer service area were kind and helpful. So Brennan and Will were kind. They went to check on the correct 65" tv that I was supposed to have bought and found it was out of stock. And Brennan checked online to the other stores in the area to see if I could go there or have it ordered. That's what customer service is. That is how you maintain and succeed in a business. The employees you hire are the face of your company so choose wisely and reprimand your staff when they aren't applying the core standard of your business ethics. I will now shop at the locations other than Owings Mills.

I ordered an iPad for my husband for Christmas. I could have gotten it delivered to my home on Wednesday, but opted for a curbside store pick up on Friday, Christmas Eve I didn't want it delivered to my house in case I wasn't there and it was left on the step for possible porch pirates, but a Christmas Eve pickup was a bit risky. I was praying hard that nothing would go wrong To my surprise I got a notice on Thursday that my iPad was ready for pickup I go and there are at 3-4 cars ahead of me and clearly judging from the parking lot a full store. I follow the directions from my email and let them know I was here. Within 5 minutes my iPad was in my hands a day early A Christmas miracle maybe not, but a happy customer definitely

Free installation is a lie!!! Ordered a dash cam thru Best Buy as it offered "Free installation". When my appointment time came, I went to the Owings Mills store and they were charging me for the installation. I'm very disappointed with this bait and switch experience! I've been a frequent customer up to today. Due to this deceptive marketing and false advertising, you lost one good customer as I won't be buying thru Best Buy anymore.

Need a new appliance? Would you think of Best Buy? I hadn't till I was reading horror stories about dealing with other box stores. A friend recommended Best Buy so I thought I would give it a go. I did my entire purchase online. My dishwasher died so I needed to get one installed quickly before the holidays. I was able to go online select a dishwasher, pay and arrange for install on a day / timeframe that worked for me at time of purchase. The day before install I got a voicemail narrowing down my time frame from 4 hours to 2 hours with an idea on which end of that time frame I would be on. The installer showed up right when they said he would. Polite and easy to work with. He did a great job with the install and cleaned up after himself and removed my old dishwasher and any debris. This was an easy pain free install. I would definitely use them again for appliance purchases and install.

Can you buy electronic items at Best Buy? Absolutely. Will you get a good price? Yes. BUT, if you have a problem with the product and want to call the store, can you? NO. A BIG FAT NO. I bought a Smart TV online on Sunday. I arranged to pick it up at the store. When I got there I encountered a problem. But I managed to work things out and I purchased a second TV for my Mom. I needed to call the store yesterday to speak to a manager. I Googled the store's phone number and dialed through. I ended up calling an 800 number and was connected ultimately to a Rep. she could not help me at all. I was trying to handle a Customer Service issue over the phone to no avail. I asked for the store phone number. There is none. You CANNOT call the store or any Best Buy store directly. If you purchase a product and cannot call the store for assistance, what is the point? I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING ANY ELECTRONIC ITEM OR APPLIANCE FROM BEST BUY FOR THIS REASON. When I purchase a big ticket item, I want to know the business will support me and stand behind the product. Forget it.

Normally a pleasant experience. Today, it was not. I was in two different sections of the store. Despite waiting patiently, no one assisted me in either section. Standing for at least 10 minutes in each section, people who arrived after me were helped. It wasn't particularly busy and this has never happened before. If pre holiday shopping will be like this, I'll stick with purchasing online, curbside pickups, delivery service or shop elsewhere. Disappointed.

The experience was pleasant. The cell phone area was well organized but more staff is needed. The bathroom was not clean.

I've never been to a bestbuy where I had to teach a manager (named Mike )about their own policies and procedures. Apparently Mike the manager on duty and Kim the customer service representative didn't know that you could have an authorized user on a bestbuy card. Then got mad and tried to fight me about it when they saw I was upset. Don't go to this store you honestly could go to other stores and find someone else who knows how to do their job better than these two.

I usually do not write reviews but so angered by Best But delivery. We ordered washing machine that we wanted delivered and installed; however, when they arrived they refused to install it. It snowed. We have a walk-in basement. They refused to bring in into the house because "path was not cleared". My husband alone took the washer down the hill for them and asked them to help him install it. Again they refused. When we arranged delivery, we did not expect it to snow. Are we suppose to shovel the street and yard for them to deliver and install our appliances? The path from basement door to laundry room was clear. We had to install it ourselves and haul away our old one.

Who is in charge of the curbside pick up set up? I have been to other Best Buy locations and they used parking spaces instead of a drive-thru set up - which I think is better due to the amount of traffic that comes through. The line was really long so we thought we'd go inside to pick up. After 15 minutes of waiting in line inside, we are told that we cannot do in person pick up. Okay, we get it - employee is only following protocol. But it doesn't make sense bc why can't they just hand me the stuff inside instead of me going back out to my car, drive to the end of the line, wait again, for them to hand me my stuff? Got in my car and had to wait an additional 30 minutes just to get my stuff.
