This dealer has a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. They let us pick the car we wanted no matter how many times we wanted to test drive. They had great selection. Our salesman, Mr. Fairfax, was fantastic.

Living in DC, there are many options for BMW dealerships in my area. After doing my research, I decided to engage with BMW of Owings Mills and I am glad that I did. I recently had an excellent experience with BMW of Owings Mills. My Client Advisor, Matt, made the process enjoyable by ensuring that I fully comprehended all my options. In his absence, I had the pleasure of working with David, the Sales Manager, who also proved to be fantastic. Despite having numerous questions, they both took the time to address them without exerting any pressure on me to make a hasty decision.Ash from the finance department was also instrumental in the process. He dedicated a considerable amount of time explaining all the intricacies, such as the numbers, payment breakdowns, and various warranty packages available. Ash even took the time to explain options for purchasing at a later date, all while maintaining a no-pressure approach.The entire journey, from the beginning to the end, was remarkably painless, quick, and easy. I extend my gratitude to the entire team at BMW of Owings Mills for their exceptional service!

I was scheduled for an oil change that took 2 hours in and half. The sales associate never came out to speak with me even though I sat in the waiting area. Need add insult to injury. I needed 2 front tires. I said ok replace them. Then right after I was told that they only had one tire in stock. I then stated when will you get your next shipment. The sales person Mark could not disclose that information. I did call the next day Ro speak with a manager who stated that he would look into. I received a call yesterday stating that the tire I need will not be in until January. On the day of the oil change I was asked if I wanted a different tire other than the ones so had. I stated why would I do that. The disturbing part about this is that I purchased my vehicle with them in 2021, I have always dealt with them for everything. When I was called yesterday I was asked for a payment ti order the tire. I change all of my tires a year ago and Had ti replaced one 2 oil changes ago. My husband look at my tires last night and I have 1 out of 3 that is different. Why in the world would this happen. As a loyal customer a deserve better than the lack of customer service that I received. This goes beyond understanding the why would this happen. The last filter change my lights did not light up on my dash board. I made a another appointment, come to find out my wire was not reconnected. I am seeking a resolution.

Our family have been loyal BMW drivers/customers for decades and BMW of Owings Mills is a huge reason for that! Michelle, Mark, Marshall, and Karen are among the many wonderful people working there that are so good to us and take such good care of our BMW's. We have even recommended our neighbors to go there to have their BMW's serviced as well. Great cars, great staff and great service!!

I would give zero stars if I could -- 8/18/23 had $4k worth of work done on my 2012 X3, including brakes and front bushings. Included a 100pt inspection and oil change for life because my daughter is now driving the car. Less than one week later began hearing knocking in the front and scheduled service again. 9/14/23 Learned that the knocking was due to loose sway bar links from wear and rust. Was fairly concerned that no one road tested the fixes after the big repair, but agreed to fix and asked that the shop also replace the right rear brake light... Fast forward to another $500 bill, and the almost 100% markup sway bar kit which is available available at BMW for $84.10 but I was charged $143.99 for the kit on my invoice, plus labor. Okay -- it's for the safety of my kid, so okay -- I swallow the pill and just go with it. Picking up the car the second time -- the rear light still not working. Was advised that they checked the brake light, which was working but didn't notice the right rear running light wasn't working. Brake light, running light, it is stunning that per the service tech, they had it in the shop with doors/windows closed to see tail lights in action and somehow didn't notice?At that point I was done... paid my bill and rolled on out. And I wasn't even going to post a negative review -- Until, just this week received a video asking me to approve more work on my car-- except it wasn't my car!! Sheer stupidity at this point. So, a couple of tips -- for the easy stuff, take it to your neighborhood garage. For the complicated stuff, shop around -- Owings Mills BMW is expensive (even for a longtime customer who spends on average $6-7K annually on service there) and they lack clear and obvious diagnostics and quality controls.

This may come across as a cheesy review but I write it like it is and rarely at that by the way..... Have you ever caught yourself reflecting on someone that you've interacted with as a customer that left an impression which blew you away?Well it's been many years and this review is well overdue. Ed Han is one of those rare individuals that takes customer service to a whole new level. I've had the privilege of working with Ed off and on for more than a decade as we've bought new cars in the family and made a couple of referrals to him in between while his career took him around the DC area. If you're reading this you may be thinking ... yeh yeh, what about Ed is so great. I think I can summarize it by saying he seems to really love his job. From the first time I met him I was actually comfortable walking into a dealership. Ed was (is) one of those genuine people with a welcoming demeanor that wants you to walk out happy. No pressure..... "Let's find you the right car for the right price" and if those two don't align, then he steps in, roles up his sleeves and takes it as a personal challenge to make it work.If this dealership is a little further away from your local BMW dealer and you're on the fence about extending your search, reach out to Ed and give him a chance. He won't disappoint. And if you happen to be at the dealership, hopefully you're lucky enough to work with Ed. Ed if you're still out there, hats off to you. I'm hoping your positive work ethic continues to influence those around you.

Top tier for service. Michelle Jackson is the gold standard for customer service and BMW service. The care and attention as well as the consideration of the cost is always considered. Hands down this is the best service for BMW in the state. Most BMW dealers don’t live on ya unless you have purchased from their dealer. This dealership is an exception. Catonsville, Towson and Annapolis all have a thing or two to learn from this business regarding how you treat your customer. I have always had good experiences regardless of the needs of my vehicle.

My first BMW was recently totaled after having it for over 6 years. I went looking for a car. The only place I wanted to buy a car was from Owings Mills BMW. Eric was my salesman. He professional, honest and supportive all at the same time. Tom the GM was amazing as well!

Great experience working with my service advisor, Mark Johnson. He was honest about the repairs needed and kept me informed the entire time. I just wish they had more loaners, especially when they have to keep the vehicle longer than a day. Being stuck in the house without transportation for a few days sucks. Other than that I am pleased with the service.

I've been a customer of this dealership for over a decade, if not more. I only continue to buy cars there because of the folks in the service department (Michelle, Mark, etc.).I feel comfortable coming for whatever needs my two X5s may have and have never been disappointed with the service, attention, or flexibility to accommodate. My wife and I both work at night, so any daytime business is difficult, especially one that involves your primary transportation. Thanks to the folks at the service department, the process is as painless as possible.

Everything was excellent - from the initial contact to the transfer to the salesperson (Brandon), to the Service Manager, and to the finance person. I would highly recommend Brandon to anyone seeking a top-tier experience. He was very professional, helpful, and knowledgeable about the vehicle, similar models, and the value of the BMW brand. The service manager also was very helpful in closing the deal and was successful in getting me to not go to another dealership. I was considering getting a used model at another location, but he closed the deal and was successful in getting me to see the value in a new model. The financial advisor was successful in getting me to see the value in ensuring that I had GAP and tire coverage. This was all done in the late evening, so I appreciate everyone accommodating my schedule. Brandon also stayed late to make sure that my technology was setup and that I was comfortable with everything, prior to leaving. I've also received several communications afterward by email and phone calls to ensure that everything was going great. I couldn't be happier with my experience. It was the small things as well...several test drives of 3 vehicles, offering me water as I wait, letting me use outlets to charge my phone, no aggressive and intrusive sales practices, and everything moved seamlessly and quickly.

Wow am I impressed, I brought my M5 Comp in for scheduled maintenance and was greeted by a motivated young man who moved me to the reception area where I met Michelle J., who was very helpful in getting my warranty transferred over to my name. Derrick was amazing as well and went above and beyond with customer service. I literally just had the best dealership experience and will definitely be looking to make my next purchase here.
