Cashier's never at the front. Almost always in the back. And even on the rare occasion they are in front, they will ignore certain people. Not once have I felt welcomed or greeted. Almost always have to wait a while for the cashier to give a darn to help me check out. Last time I went(the last time I return) the cashier suddenly had the urge to converse with a customer(I'm guessing it was her friend). Mind you there was two people including myself waiting to check out. She didn't even recognize or acknowledge that we were there waiting. Guy behind me got pissed so stormed off. Rightfully so. I waited a little longer than left. Horrible service. Surprised this place is still there tbh. People seem to rarely go. At least PetSmart is not too far from there. Way better customer service there. I recommend going there instead if you're in the Owings Mills area.

I was waiting outside of the van unaware that I had to go inside to check in. Due to the text stated that I text a single number to check in. Which I did but the technician told me to go inside the store to check in. Upon doing so, the lady stated that since I was late I couldn't be seen. Even though the tech was talking to another person while I was standing outside of the van. So I had to reschedule for something that was not my fault. The other Petco location that I used to go to didn't give me this kind of problem. Service was always great from the cashiers to the groomers to Vetco.

Worst customer service ever, I went to shop there and I asked someone that works there if they had a bathroom, he told me no. Then at the cash register he was completely rude with an attitude with me. A guy with long blonde hair, kind of short, be aware of that attitude Petco or get diversity training because he act like he was discriminating me because I’m black!

Great shopping experience. Everything is easy to find and clearly labeled for pet parents in need of essentials. Aisles were well stocked, and pets in the store with their parents were well behaved. There were lots of supplies available in case one of the pets had an oopsie while shopping.There seemed to a never-ending aisle of food choices for canines, felines, reptiles, amphibians, fish, hamsters, guinea pigs, ferrets, birds, and almost any kind of pet imaginable!OTC medications, clothing itemsThe cashier was a little rude and impatient, not to mention he was lacking basic knowledge about services provided by Petco. Even if he didn't know the prices off the top of his head (because that can be alot of information, and to be honest I wouldnt expect him to know the price of every service offered on demand), as an employee tasked with helping customers he should know basic information like services offered. After surmising that he didn't know the answer to my question, I simply requested an informative brochure in an effort to obtain the information sought. However, he did not give me the brochure containing information that was needed. I asked for the brochure related to veterinary services available at Petco, but instead he gave me a brochure with general information about caring for a pet and their needs (feeding, training, toys, grooming, etc. that are available). While all of this is great information to have...it is neither what I needed nor requested. Unfortunately, the information isn't available on the website either ?. Overall, my visit to this location was a pleasant one, and I am likely to return in the future!

My friend was getting a new puppy so we went to get all the essentials! Crate, bed, food, toys etc! Also got a lot of info on puppy training classes from a very helpful staff member.

Decent prices cheaper than competitors...terrible customer service...I placed an order online to save time for 1 bag of dog food . I was on my way home from work so it took me about 35 mins to get to the store . When I arrived to the store I approached the counter and asked where I needed to go for online orders and the lady at the register took my order number and explained it wasn't ready yet. I asked her why they promote online ordering if it's just as fast if not faster to just come in and get it off the shelf yourself to which she could not give an answer. Just then a gentleman interjected into our conversation asking the employee what was wrong. I began to tell him the situation and he told me he was the one pulling the order and he has an hour to get it ready and he has other things to do than just pull my dogfood. I found this to be incredibly rude as it is not my issue as a paying customer what his job entails. He then told me there's a process to online ordering and that's how it is . Again something I as a customer did not need to hear. This negative interaction and argumentive behavior from this associate has caused me to take my business elsewhere. We all have a choice where to spend our money and I for one refuse to spend my money where it is not appreciated.

Asked them when I booked my dog for appointment they said they could do today. I asked them you sure you work on New Year Day they said yes. I get to the store appointment was cancelled ?. Pathetic. Will start using Pet Smart
