I have been waiting on a transfer from my main banking institution to my account at this SECU branch for almost a week now. The process usually takes only a matter of days. When calling about any issues like this, there are insufferable wait times with almost no chance of customer assistance and no voicemail or call back feature for anyone to return your call. These things are unacceptable and not the way to run a reputable bank.

Ms. Evatte was extremely professional, patient, and very helpful. She even followed up with me to make sure that everything was taken care of. I appreciate great customer service! I’m grateful to have had a wonderful experience.

3.8 stars for a reason New customers beware ????ATM stays broken I told the manager Tammie 5 times it's broken again still nothing done and the atm in the drive thru has been gone now two weeks service is slow everytime I go inside and out !!!!!!!

I want to express my appreciation for the service and time that was rendered to me on the afternoon of Friday, July 21, 2023. My mother's address needed to be updated in our joint account in order for me to conduct further business on her behalf. Ms. Nicklette was kind, polite and thorough in assisting me even with my audiological challenges. She walked me through the process with precision and answered all of my relevant questions.This type of aid should be a given in every instance and in every institution; however, it is not rendered more often than it should. When I receive such appropriate attention, I am compelled to favorably respond.Please continue your excellent service Ms. Nicklette!

Such an incompetent crew. I was very disappointed I couldn't do what I was there to do, and the women started to laugh with another one and looking at me. Such a disrespectful bunch of employees you have there. No more business from me to Secu.

This institution will run scams to get you to open up an account or two with a refer a friend promotion; and receive $50 in your savings account after 60 days. I opened my account in December 2021. It is now April 2022, and still no money in the account. EVERYTIME I CALL I GET THE RUN AROUND!!!!! SCAMMERS!!

This was my second chance with this bank, I’m always having problems first I was hacked and they barely wanted to help me now I can’t even get answers about my IRA.March 11,2022 Tammy has truly changed my view about SECU she went above and beyond to make sure I received the correct document. This could had potentially caused and issue with the IRS for missing money. I just want to say thank you again for keeping me updated on the process and getting my correct documents. She has definitely been the best person I have dealt with YET at the Owings Mills location and I do apologize because I can’t remember the women who reopened my account she was really nice as well. Again thank you Tammy for all your help

Ms. Lana Sapojnik, Member Advisor is very knowledgeable, courteous and professional. For many years I have been dealing with her because she provides outstanding customer service and is very nice. I highly recommend the SECU Credit Union and Ms. Sapojnik.

Overall good experiences here but please BEWARE of asking to increase your line of credit limit. In my case instead of increasing the limit of my current line of credit that I've had for several years, they opened an entire new account which decreased my otherwise blemish free credit score over 30 points. The rep I spoke with on the phone never told me that's what they were doing. Almost a year later my score still has not recovered.

Super happy new customer! I spoke with Tammy, the new manager at this branch and she was telling me about the amazing rates SECU could get me for refinancing my car payments. Tammy was quick to make me an appointment with Penny & told me exactly what I needed to bring in to make the process quick and easy. Within an hour Penny was able to get my rate decreased by almost 2.5% on my auto loan, she helped me setup my monthly payments so that they are on autopilot and even showed me how to work the SECU app on my phone.For years I have banked with Wells Fargo and it has always been a hit or miss experience but knowing that I have Tammy and Penny practically in my backyard and they have my best financial interest in mind really put me at ease. I'm excited to be working with SECU now and highly recommend if you go there to make an appointment with Penny!

Great assistance when you walk in but a place where all calls go to voice mails on business hours is a little annoying when you are just checking on basic information. I’m just ready to go somewhere else.

This is ridiculous. The waiting area is full and workers are just walking around not seeing customers. Absolutely awful. Don’t come here unless you have 5 hours to waste.
